Wir (2 Erwachsene und ein 12jähriger) waren nur zwei Nächte hier. Die Wohnung hat eine ganz tolle Lage. Für die kurze Zeit perfekt, wir konnten alles zu Fuß machen. Die Wohnung ist toll ausgestattet, Betten waren bezogen, im Kühlschrank erste Kleinigkeiten für ein Frühstück, im Bad Fön, Handtücher, Wattestäbchen, Beutel in Mülleimern .... Alles sauber. Ein Vermieter, der mal richtig mitdenkt !!! Cido ist sehr freundlich und hat sich vom ersten Kontakt perfekt um alles gekümmert. Wir erhielten eine Mail mit allen Infos, die man für die Anreise braucht. Am An- und Abreisetag ist sie uns total entgegen gekommen hinsichtlich Ein- und Aus-Check-Zeiten und Gepäck unterbringen. Besser geht's nicht. Herzlichen Dank !!! Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Grüße, Beate

Live like a local!
Communication with owner was great. Cido & Rob are the consummate hosts. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect location! The apartment is perfectly equipped for your stay, with no detail overlooked. Tastefully decorated in a cozy Dutch style. Across the canal is Winkl (try their apple pie!) and the square by the church is a hub of local activity. Enjoy watching the comings and goings from your canalside windows. This is the Amsterdam to fall in love with! (But, be aware, lots of steps to navigate.).

Fantastic location and wonderful hosts!
We stayed for a week. Everything (museums, Anne Frank house, Centraal, restaurants, shopping) is within walking distance. Cido and Rob were fabulous; even helping us with an important visit after our flights were canceled due to snow causing us to arrive a day late. We are a family of four and our teens were happy to sleep on the couch bed. Kitchen is fully-equipped if you want to stay in for a meal.

Wonderful!!!
My mother and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful experience! The apartment is in an amazing location and one of our favorite activities was looking out the large windows at the canal and all the bikers. With Winkel’s just across the canal, we also enjoyed a piece of apple pie every night! The apartment is clean and comfortable - it really did feel like a home away from home. And Cido and Rob are fantastic hosts!

Cido’s communications were always very personable. Bedding was very good. Apartment was well stocked with condiments. Location was outstanding with a view of the canal. Enjoyed our time watching the boats go by. The 2nd floor location was a perfect vantage point. The 2 flights of stairs were not too bad at all. Very good value for our 9 night Amsterdam stay.

Everything about this property and the process was exactly as represented. Great location and lovely view onto canal. Apartment was accurately depicted in photos. 2 minor issues. Stairs are steep and narrow so not suitable for people for whom that's an issue. No directions on how to use high tech coffee maker which baffled us and so went unused. Cido was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect location and great apartment
We stayed at this cute apartment during our recent trip to Amsterdam. It was well appointed and clean, with all we needed to be able to cook a few meals. It ended up snowing while we were there, and there were a couple of cold and windy/rainy days. Fortunately, the large living room windows let is a lot of light and a great view. We were happy to stay in and watch the bicyclers and pedestrians in the square across the canal. The bed is extremely comfortable. We loved the variety of dishwater and glasses. The heating works well, and the shower has good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Cido and Rob were very helpful and friendly, both before we arrived and once there. We were easily able to self-check-in and do a load of laundry. There are stairs to get up to the apartment, but the stairwell is wide and easy to maneuver. Overall it was a great stay. We definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if we are ever back in Amsterdam.

Most memorable stay in Amsterdam!
This was our 4th visit to lovely Amsterdam and our very favorite stay. The apartment exceeded expectations and those expectations were high to start with! Cido and Rob are the consummate hosts, on top of an absolutely gorgeous location right on Prinsengracht. The apartment is wonderful, decorated with charm and warmth with a canal view from the front windows that captures what Amsterdam is all about. Our hosts were very attentive and a great source of information for even the seasoned Amsterdam visitor. We could have definitely stayed longer than our two weeks and we will return most definitely. Fantastic stay
Rob and Cido's property is fantastic. It is situated on one of the main canals in Amsterdam and so it overlooks the whole area and you can sit in the main room and watch all the activity in the area. It is in the center of everything and within walking distance to most of the things you want to see. Cido and Rob are very friendly and helpful and we highly recommend their property if you are traveling to Amsterdam. You will not be disappointed. Only negative is that it is up several flights of stairs, but Rob will certainly help with suitcases. This is the place to stay in Amsterdam.

We arrived after a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal (encountering a short downpour) and everything was smooth after that. Check in was easy and the apartment is well equipped. We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood as well as sights a bit farther afield like Edam, Volendam, and Marken. We even made it to an Ajax game ⚽️. Everything by public transit. We definitely recommend!

Amazing Location in Great Neighborhood
We really loved our stay in this very cute and comfortable apartment on a canal. Huge windows open to let in the breeze and great atmosphere of the canal. We enjoyed watching the parade of boats filled with friends and families on a sunny afternoon. The neighborhood is filled with great choices for eating out or you could enjoy dinner in as the kitchen is well stocked. We hope to return to this exceptional rental. Everything worked, and there were fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. I felt like the luckiest person around enjoying my vacation in this sunny, very well decorated and pleasant apartment.

Cido’s apartment is in a prime area of Amsterdam with restaurants, grocery store and bakeries minutes away. We were also lucky enough to be there on a Weekend to enjoy the Farmer’s market and Flea Markets. The apartment is lovely, and spacious for two, with beautiful large windows overlooking the canal and quiet for sleeping as the bedroom is located in the back of the property.

Charming apartment!
I had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was large and roomy, very clean, and nicely decorated. It came with tea and coffee, towels and bed linens, plus had handy things like a hair dryer in the bathroom. The location was fantastic! It was just across the street from a canal with a nice view of the water and the square beyond, and a few minutes walk from many restaurants, attractions, and the Centraal train station. The owner greeted me as I arrived and showed me to the apartment. They are just downstairs if you need them, but otherwise leave you on your own. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Amsterdam.

The Charm Without the HubBub
We could not have been happier with the location, the owners or the unit. You don't have to walk through the crazy tourist area to get to the major sites, and the neighborhood actually felt more "authentic" because of this. Would have loved to have a glass of wine with Cido, as she seemed like just the type of local I could relate to. If you are traveling with a big suitcase, please note that you will have to maneuver it through narrow, steep stairs, but such is life in Amsterdam. Luckily my husband is strong, but I would hate to have wrangled that big suitcase myself. Thank guy, Cido, for your hospitality and sharing your adorable apartment with us.

This is the best time I've ever had in a rental apartment.
The view over the canal and the activity on the streets was simply fabulous. I could have stayed all day just watching the boats and the people biking past and looking at the sweet architecture. it is a great district to stay in Amsterdam, active but not terribly touristy. Cedo provided everything we needed at her apartment, including coffee and a bottle of wine. I miss being there!

Perfect home away from home
We stayed in this apartment during part of our family's brief pre-Christmas European vacation. We only had two days to spend in Amsterdam so it was important for us to find a place that was comfortable and close to everything. This apartment surpassed our expectations and the host was wonderful. The apartment includes a private bedroom and a spacious living area with a pull out bed. There were three of us and our daughter (13) was very comfortable on the pull out bed, while giving us all some privacy at night. The apartment has a very nice bathroom including a good shower. It was well equipped with a good hair dryer and even a curling wand and a straightener. The kitchen was also well equipped with the basics - although we weren't there long enough to take advantage of it. Maybe next time! We arrived in Amsterdam by train and found that the walk from the train station to the apartment was quite easy. Even though we were slowed down by our suitcases, the walk was less than 15 minutes. You just have to keep an eye out for bikes! We also found that it was an enjoyable walk from the apartment to the various sites and neighborhoods. It's a few minutes away to a few very nice restaurants and cafes, and to some lovely stores. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to have the opportunity to visit again soon.

I stayed there with my husband and a friend of ours for three nights in November. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The apartment was clean, very homey, and had everything we needed - and everything we would need for a much longer stay. We had control of the heat, which was nice on a chilly November. The shower was fabulous, the space was comfortable for the three of us, even with the sofa pulled out into a bed (which our friend said was very comfortable for sleeping). Cido was a gracious host, and we never needed anything. This was one of the best VRBO experiences I've had - truly. I highly recommend it.
