First time staying at a B&B because we like our privacy. It just happened that we never did run into any other guests. It seemed that everything that you could need or want was supplied. From multiple breakfast options (with fresh baked goodies offered in the morning- nut allergy so I couldnât partake but they looked delicious) to bug and bear spray. Very thoughtful hosts.
Did not have basic amenities available easily. For a two night stay, they donât even refresh the room with basics such as taking out the trash. We asked for a fresh pair of towels next day but the host who stays next door said sheâs resting and canât provide that.
Horrible service.
We enjoyed our stay at the Tecumseh Stall for our final overnight in our 2 week vacation. The space was extremely clean. We had dinner across the street from the cabin. The hosts were very helpful and everything was great. The only thing we did not have was the hot tub as it was being renovated. But we were so tired we likely wouldn't have gotten to it anyway. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place in the Girdwood/Anchorage area.
This is a bedroom in the lower level of a home. There are other bedrooms on the level and you share a kitchen/ breakfast table area. I don't normally book rooms like this, but it worked out OK, as the other guests were very nice and also quiet. The refrigerator was well stocked with breakfast options. We arrived late in the evening and I did not meet the host in person.
We stayed one night in the main lodge/B&B and 2 nights in our own âcabinâ. Both places were clean, comfortable and cozy, not to mention walkable to several restaurants and the town square. Rachel was warm and responsive.
Highly recommend!!
The owner (Rachel) was very helpful and kind. She baked us a Walnut bread (i think) that was great with our coffee. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were VERY comfy.
Across the street in an awsome restaurant (expensive but worthy).
