„Great place to stay. My favorite is all of Surfside! Kitchen is well stocked. Owners do a great job of keeping the property well maintained. Location is amazing with a fully fenced in yard. So easy to walk back to the house since it is directly on the beach. I can see the kids form the kitchen and the breeze is amazing! Looking forward to our next trip back! “

„We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat.“
