Girişte Resepsiyonda bulunan Yana Hanım gördüğümüz en kötü çalışan diyebiliriz. Konuşma üslubu yabancı kökenli olmasından dolayı değil, tavrı ve cevapları fazlasıyla rahatsız edici idi.Gerek araç konusunda, sonrasında oda ile ilgili yasanan sorunlarda inanılmaz kötü bir tavra maruz kaldık.Uzun ve detaylı yazmak istemiyorum ama çok kötü bir deneyim idi. İyi olan tek yani gece Resepsiyon yetkilisi olan Ömer Bey in bizlere olan profesyonelce olan yaklaşımı ve çözüm odaklı oluşu bu konaklamayı giderayak dayanılabilir kıldı. Eğer kalmayı düşünüyor iseniz Ömer Beyin vardiyasına denk getirin ya da hiçbir şekilde kalmayın derim.

Too much for too little
Hotel has great charm and location but was lacking in other areas. We like to get out and hike all day, and the way the it conditioning is set, it only works while you are in the room. Coming back to a 95 degree room at 9pm after a long day was a shock. The hot water and water pressure were completely lacking. There were points were water would not even come out if set to hot. When they did house keeping, the weren’t even bothered to make the bed. Lastly, the room door had to be locked in order for it to stay shut (by a manual key attached to the card that allowed you to use electricity in the room). For the money ($187 USD/night) it was very lacking and we were thoroughly under impressed.

The room very very small to to level that you don’t have space for only hand bag. The bathroom is very bad. They let me pay a 10€ for 40 min after the check out time. The location and the receptionist “hemsa” is the only good about this place.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Castle Old Town. The location is wonderful, the hotel itself beautifully designed. Buffet breakfast had lots of options with different cheeses, salamis, olives, pancakes, cereal, eggs, toast, jam and honey, tea and coffee. Staff are very friendly!

Dirty experience
Might be we weren’t lucky, and normally guests get clean rooms at Castle Old Town, but feel like I must leave the comment here. The room we got was dirty, bathroom seemed to be a room which has never been visited by housekeepers. Toilet was dirty, and there was somebody’s razor and shower gel on the bath. So we had to lose our time to negotiate another room which was cleaned but still not renovated. But the breakfast was good.

Very very nice and friendly staff.
Very very nice and friendly staff. Good bed and nice bathroom. If you are sensitve to noise ask for a room on the garden site or use ear plugs. Fine breakfast. High value for money. NB: Too few loungers at the pool - only 4.

service is poor
Poor service. We asked for the lunch box for next morning as we left earlier for a trip but the waiter gave us everything on the tray saying he doesn’t have a box. Why didn’t he warn us before? They don’t understand English well and there can be a problem. Prices at the bar are x10 higher than in the shop at the corner. They don’t have laundry or car rent. Room price is higher than average.

Take a snap shot of room before booking with Hotel
The staff were great, hotels.com we’re not very good, I booked deluxe with terrace, but got penthouse which was to small, staff moved me to deluxe with no terrace which was very kind of them. Hotels.com we’re adamant that I booked penthouse, basically said I was lying, however i was looking at this room for two weeks and was recommended by friends who stayed there. Advice is take a snap shot of photo before booking as Hotels.com are not honest and have no morals. First and last time I will book with them. Staff great especially the two guys on reception one a fenebache fan. Sort forgot your names, they was great with my problem and Hotels.com we’re not.

Albergo comodo solo logisticamente
Il soggiorno in albergo non è stato molto confortevole. Avevamo fatto l'upgrade da una tripla all'appartamento pensando di andare meglio ma non è stato così; L'appartamento era stretto ma soprattutto poco confortevole per due motivi: dava sulla strada, quindi ci era impossibile aprire le finestre. E il bagno minuscolo non aveva il box doccia. Abbiamo cercato di cambiare stanza ma ci hanno detto che l'albergo era pieno. Siamo stati un'ora a cercare di trovare una soluzione; un'impresa ardua, data la poca conoscenza della lingua inglese dello staff. Alla fine prima ci hanno detto che c'era un'altra stanza per qualche giorno, poi si sono presentati con un foglio stampato in turco, dicendo che era una prenotazione arrivata all'ultimo momento. Quindi ci siamo dovuti accontentare di quella stanza buia e con aria di riciclo data dall'aria condizionata, causa del fatto che non potevano aprire le finestre, essendo a piano terra e con un ristorante praticamente a due passi da noi. Un'altra pecca è stata la pulizia. La stanza ci è stata pulita solo due volte in 7 giorni e solo perché gli è stato chiesto esplicitamente. Colazione non abbondante ma ok. Insomma, non lo risceglieremmo come albergo anche se parlando con altre persone, lo standard degli alberghi nella città vecchia, è questo.

The hotel is located in a very nice area. However, the room was very basic. people work there slapping the doors very loudly. shower door was broken and water goes all over the place when taking a shower. VERY POOR HOTEL
