« This was a very cozy spot. Much smaller than we expected but we were out most of the day. We had no place to sit except the bed. We needed toilet and towels and it took over 10 hours to get a toilet response. Other than that it was great. »

« This is a remarkable historic property in the Swaledale valley, with extraordinary views. And yet the cottage has been painstakingly updated inside, with every comfort and amenity attended to. The bed is comfortable; the bath is modern; there's a fantastic wood-stove. And the owners have provided wonderful maps and suggestions for walks in the area. You're just up the hill from the Punch Bowl, a gastro-pub with good food. This is a very special place to stay. »

"Nous avons eu le cottage 1. Nous avions reservé pour 5 adultes, il n'y avait que 4 couchages. Pas de gaz à la cuisinÚre, 3 couverts pour 5, fuite au plafond, pommeau de douches tenu par un sac plastique....et j'en passe. Personnel complÚtement dépassé. Je ne comprends comment ils ont encore l'autorisation de louer ce logement. Les photos du site sont malheureusement trÚs trompeuses. Le cadre semble idyllique mais la réalité en est tout autre. A éviter à tout prix..."
