« This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

« The location was outstanding and we really enjoyed our stay at The Barn. We would highly recommend your place to others. The beds were excellent except for the single beds which were not large enough for an average sized adult. The French Press was nice but it would be so much better to have either a Nespresso or a similar type of machine. It would be good to invest in a few more kitchen amenities, eg, knives that are sharp, a carrot peeler (it was broken), some steak knives. »

« This was a wonderful stay, with great directions from Alan, extensive welcome snacks and so forth in a clean, well-designed space. Parking is easy, walking in to the center of Portree also very simple. Alan had many siggestions for what to do and lots of maps and brochures available to help with decision making. I would most definitely stay here again! »

Instructions fournies sur tout au moyen d’une tablette électronique (laveuse, lave-vaisselle, douche, etc.), ce qui est grandement apprécié. Lit confortable. Aucun contact avec le propriétaire, les clés laissées sur la porte à l’intérieur. Stationnement sur place, proche en voiture de Portree. Accueil chaleureux avec une bouteille de vin ! Y retournerait volontiers ! »
