„Lovely staff that helped us look up times for trains and buses to Takeda Castle Ruins. As well as helped us getting a taxi because apparently there’s only one out there 😅 It’s a 20 min walk on flat ground from the Wadayama station so be ready for that. Also the taxi from the hotel to Takeda Station was around 2800 yen just fyi“

"Although a bid outside of town this ryokan offers incredible rooms, fantastic staff and a beautiful onsen. Although it’s just a quick walk to downtown they offer a free shuttle service to some of the onsen as well as the station. Just be aware that sleeping on the ground is rather hard even with the provided futon."
