„We really enjoyed our days by the sea and in this house and can highly recommend it! The house is well and carefully furnished (very nice bed linen), large windows with a beautiful view of the bay and seating outside in the garden. It is in a very quiet location in a relaxed environment. There is a lovely café within walking distance right by the bay. The house also offers plenty of space.“

„Spent a week in the property. Great stay in a generous sized property. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. 5 minute walk from the town centre. Good range of shops and eating places in Newbiggin. Near park land which was ideal for the dog. House was well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Rear yard was a nice suntrap and very private. Good sized bedrooms and very clean.“

„Sehr schönes Haus mit Garten und Stühlen sowie Tisch am Eingang zur sehr ruhigen Straße hin, wo man auch ein Blick aufs Meer erhaschen kann. Craster ist dazu ein kleines ruhiges Fischdorf mit einem hervorragendem Fischrestaurant ( The Jolly Fishermen) und sehr netten Leuten. Für die Kinder war es toll, dass ein Kinderspielplatz nur knapp 15 m vom Haus entfernt war“

„have had a fantastic stay for one week. Pubs, restaurants, supermarket, harbour and beech are all in walking distance. Everything needed is in the cottage. Equipment a bit old but all worked good.We really can recommend the cottage.Diane is very friendly and helpful “

„As soon as we walked into Arkle House we were impressed. The bunaglow was immaculate, and exactly as described. The welcome basket was a lovely treat, and the garden was perfect for us. Amble is a beautiful area, and buses are regular.We had much longer journey (from Kent) than we realised, but is was more than worth it!“

„Lovely stay in Amble at Jo’s property. The house was fab much bigger than it looks and great distance to lovely walks along the shore and round harbour and marina .Easy parking at house . Lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A great base to see more of the area too. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend“

„Great central location but peaceful and quiet. Parking next to cottage is tricky but parking is available a short walk away. Dogs must be kept on a lead and are not allowed to walk on other properties grass at all. The cottage has everything you need inside and is very homely. “
