Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im alten Stadtteil von Athen. Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen im Umkreis. Das Hotel hat eine schöne Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken und Abendessen mit Blick auf die Akropolis. Das Hotel besitzt eine eigene Tiefgarage und bietet auch einen Shuttleservice zum Flughafen.

Hotel hat einen sehr schöne Lage. Das Foyer ist schön und imposant. Personal bemüht. Zimmer leider abgewohnt mit diversen Mängeln. Es hatte mal 5 Sterne vor 10 Jahren, jedoch der Zahn der Zeit naht stark am Inventar. Durfte Zimmer wechseln, nachdem ich meinen Unmut geäußert habe. Das erstes Zimmer war jenseits von 3 Sternen, mit Ausblick auf einen wirklich schlimmen Innenhof und lauter Klimaanlage, defekte Tapete, verzogene Zimmertüre, Macken im Mobiliar etc.. Man hat mir nach der ersten Beschwerde mehrere Zimmer gezeigt, welche jedoch alle ähnlich Mängel aufwiesen. Habe am folgetag ein etwas größeres Zimmer angeboten bekommen, welches aber auch dringend Handlungsbedarf hat. Steckdosen lose, sehr viele Macken im Mobiliar, Lampen lose, Fenster schließen nicht richtig und sind schlecht isoliert. Alles vor einigen Jahren einmal schön aber das ist vergangen. Das Frühstück war wenig kreativ und kontinental. Keine Highlights. Kirschen in Schale mit angeschlagenen, keine gute Produktwahl. Personal bemüht und teilweise freundlich. Beim Frühstück ist ein Vogel auf meinem Tisch gelandet, als ich beim Buffet war, ich wurde unfreundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht und musste mich noch einmal zum Buffet begeben. Keine besondere Teeauswahl, die Landes typisch wäre. Generell keinen Landes-typischen Spezialitäten. Es fehlte sehr häufig etwas beim Besteck. Mehr als ein Heißgetränk konnte ich meistens nicht zu mir nehmen, da das Personal dann nicht mehr kam. Sehr schade, kann es nicht empfehlen

Fourth time we have stayed here, and this visit was good but not great. Very loud pounding on exterior wall by our room 8-9AM, outdoor floodlights on mini-veranda that resulted in very bright light into the room all night long and could not be shut off nor covered with curtains. This hotel will not supply small typical washcloths of any kind, and the “shower in tub” will put water all over the bathroom unless you are very careful.

Staff was great. We checked in a bit early with no problems and even received a free room upgrade. They helped us arrange a cab to the airport and gave great tourist info. Their rooftop restaurant has amazing views of the acropolis and their breakfast there rivals the view.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was a great start to the day. Our room had an amazing view from the patio!! We loved to have a few drinks, watch the sun set and take in the view of the Acropolis! Definitely recommend this hotel of yours in town to see the historic sites.
