Home from home

Pleasant atmosphere and a warm reception. Airy, spacious bedroom. Well looked after at breakfast-time. Only thing missing is a wardrobe!!

Not impressed

I asked for a room with a king bed and a sleeper-sofa. I had my two children with me. I was given a king room without a sleeper-sofa so I had to call the front desk and they moved us. In the morning my children wanted to have some cereal for breakfast but the hotel was out of milk. We were then going to have eggs and bacon but they were also out of bacon. We did not stay for breakfast which was inconvenient. When I went to check out they did not have me in the system. I was on my way to a funeral for my Father and I did not have time to waste. I told the clerk that I needed to go and she took my email address and told me that she would email me my final bill, which I never received. I will not stay there again.

Although the staff was friendly. The room was mildew smelling and not as newly remodeled as advertised for the price..pool and hot tub was refreshing

Nice hotel close to Six Flags!

This was a small, very nice, clean, and convenient stay. the staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. I will book with them again for sure :)

Convenient location off I-20

Third visit between 6/22/2013 and 8/23/2014 in same room. Pros: The comfort of the bed is excellent and the Window A/C is quieter than most when it ramps up for A/C and down to blower only when the temp is reached - which is why we request this room. The flat screen TV picture is good. Cons: The Flat screen TV has a sleep timer on the side of the TV as part of the menu-setup that requires a great deal of patience to set. The sleep timer should be a one-button, 15 minute interval option on the remote - it is not. The TV sits to the right of the bed and is not easily visible to a second person on the left side of the bed. The bathroom is clean but looks dirty. A little TLC is needed. The bathroom light also forces on an obnoxiously loud blower.

Great Staff

The hotel itself needed repairs (ceiling in the pool room was leaking and it was very hot in the hall ways) But overall it was a nice weekend. The rooms were fine and the staff was superior. Every person was nice and always asked if we needed help. The rooms were very clean and bed comfortable.

Nice hotel close to Six Flags

The hotel was close to six flags and very easy to find. There were may food options very nearby also. The staff were all very nice. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and I would stay again. Good bargain too. The indoor pool was nice and had a jacuzzi as well. My kids enjoyed the pool very much.

Worse ever

We got to the Hotel 2 hours after check-In time and the rooms were not ready. We had to wait. Got in the room no refrigerator nor Micro-wave. We will never come back to this Hotel. It was not together at all.

The people that work there did their jobs very well and they were very nice to us. The fact that we could not wake-up to a breakfast the mornings that we visited was an upsetting to us as well. The fee of $60 was very to the left. That should have told in the online agreement.That there along made be like never again will I book rooms at Courtyard by Marriott. That's but no thanks.....

Convenient Location, Friendly Staff

This location was great for my recent business trip: less than 15 minutes to meeting/class site, and easy access from I20. Rooms could use a little sprucing up, but they were clean and comfortable. Pool area was out of service for 2 of the 3 nights of our visit, but management arranged for us to use pool at adjacent hotel. Breakfast buffet a bit pricey, but individual orders are available. Location is very industrial ~ but shopping, restaurants, home improvement stores are only a short drive away. Manager saved me about an hour commute by sending me on surface roads to second meeting in Marietta ~ will be using that route in the future to avoid traffic on the Interstates! OK value for my needs this trip!

Should not be associated with the Marriott!

First I would like to say the front desk staff was excellent, but the hotel itself was one big overwhelming letdown, from the lobby and room hallways being hot and musty to the less than comfortable room. To start our "King" sized bed was resting on a Queen sized frame which meant when my wife or I would get away from the center of the bed, we would roll downhill on either side. Also part of the metal frame was protruding from one side of the bed but covered over by the dust ruffle. My wife, being unable to see it, cut her foot while getting out of bed the first morning, so badly we had to wrap it with a bandage to stop the bleeding. Lastly the bed had no comforter or blanket at all, we had what I would describe as a thick sheet and that’s it. The room smelled musty, floor was dirty, and the AC unit was so loud it tough to sleep. Our room was not cleaned once during our entire stay at this hotel. We were leaving the room around 1000 every morning, at which time the cleaning staff had already passed our room. I would then remove the do not disturb sign and personally ask them to clean it, yet this was never done. I had to go to the front desk on our third day and ask one of the staff to give us clean sheets so we could put them on ourselves. Overall the room was a huge disappointment and was not worth anywhere close to what we paid for it. This hotel is a giant blemish to the Marriott name and is definitely not somewhere we would ever consider staying again.

Quiet and comfortable

Over all it was a nice stay. I was disappointed with the breakfast. I did not find out until I arrived that you pay $5.95 for a continental breakfast and $8.95 for the full hot breakfast. Most hotels at least supply you with a continental for free and some even supply the hot breakfast for free. That is what I was expecting and one of the main reasons I booked this particular hotel to cut down on expense for my family. If I had known I would have chosen a cheaper comparable option for less knowing I would have to pay for breakfast regardless.
