Nice, but tough sleeping without AC
The property looked newly remodeled and everything was fresh and clean.The property manager was responsive and easy to communicate with. We realized the forced air was not improving the temperature and it would not decrease despite changing all the settings. We contacted HeavenlyRez and they said they would get someone out asap. We didnât hear back for a bit then were alerted it wouldnât be fixed during our stay and got a gift card for breakfast for the inconvenience. No one came out to look at the unit, but we were told the part wouldnât be coming until 2 days after we would be gone so Iâm not sure how they would have known the issue without inspecting it. For the price point it was disappointing that sleep was so challenging due to high humidity and temp, needing to have the windows open and hearing the noise outside, and babies that donât sleep well in the heat. I hope it does get fixed for future renters. Otherwise, it was nice to have the beach chairs and beach towels. We brought a wagon which was essential to shuttle the little ones to the beach on the long block. We chose this location because of the pet allowance and proximity to family. The only other recommendation was that there were only shower stalls so bringing a small inflatable tub would have been helpful.
