Enjoyable Cabin on the River
We enjoyed our stay - being right by the river gave us plenty of time to fish! The cabin had just what we needed for the two of us to stay. Convenient to Munising and Lake Superior. Would love to visit during that summer and kayak the river.

Perfect - Rustic and serene!
This cabin was not just clean and well maintained but was so nicely done, cute details (even the toilet paper holder, an iron pipe!) and so functional - outlets in the bedside lamps for instance. Fully stocked w everything we’d need, great host communication and the setting could not have been more perfectly beautiful - right on the river. Super convenient to go to Munising and Marquette.

The couch was not as pictured. We had everything we needed but we only had one bath towel per person for 3 days. The water had a very bad smell but I am not sure what can be done about that.

Awesome little cabin!
This is the perfect little cabin. So nice. Everything is brand new! Has a really nice big comfy bed. Full kitchen with refrigerator and stove etc. It’s right next to the Au Train river and close driving distance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, which is what we did! The host was so nice as to even come out and help us on short notice. — I did want to note, that it’s not a real fireplace. From the pictures, I was thinking it was a real fireplace, but it is just a heater kind, no wood involved, but still works great! Five stars excellent experience!

Great time in au train
Great smaller property to stay at... had a small hiccup in the beginning but Cory handled service recovery extremely well. There are allot of mosquitos in the area on hiking trails and around the cabins so would suggest some type of bug repellant... other than that the cabin itself was small but very clean plenty of towels for the week and even a small gift basket with snacks which was unexpected.... soap was provided for the bathroom and kitchen areas. Internet was a bit spotty at times but overall good.... phone calls were hard to make in the cabin itself but stepping out onto the porch worked just fine. The only suggestion i would have is possibly a little more pieces of silverware as there were only 2 forks 2spoons 2 large spoons and only one butter knife..... I'm sure this was an over site since the utensils I'm sure are not counted when checking out.... other than that we had a terrific time and look forward to returning to the area in the future.... would definitely come back to this or other properties Cory had

rustic heaven
I stayed in a rustic cabin in Au Train, Mi. The cabin was just enough rustic but with all the amenities needed. The weather was lousy with cold, rain and bugs so the cabin was important. It was situated so that I could enjoy the river. I would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort while enjoying a rustic cabin. It also was near places to obtain any personal needs.

Cozy cabin!
This cabin was perfect for me and my three dogs and I will definitely be booking it again for next year’s trip to the UP. The cabin itself was very cozy and comfortable with its electric wood stove and tv with accompanying Netflix. It had a bar style counter and stools which I used to create a little workspace. It was close to gas, convenience stores, and only a 15 minute drive into downtown Munising, which is where I was going back and forth to for my ice climbing festival. If you’re bringing pets, the outside setup of the cabin is great too. The parking spot for the cabin is right next to the cabin, there’s ample area to take dogs for walks, and it’s quiet, which helps my dogs stay anxiety (and bark) -free. Loved the cabin, will be back!

Convenient & Cozy
The cottage was just what we needed for our long weekend trip to the U.P. Outdoor adventures by day, and a cozy rustic retreat to come back to once the sun went down. All the amenities, and centrally located for quick access to towns, natural areas, and many nearby points of interest. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again!

Third time visiting the cottage. I have chosen this cabin due to its simplicity and connivence to the local silent sport activities I enjoy. Corey and crew are extremely accommodating. The cabin is very light and airy, with a limited but awesome view of the Au Train river for morning coffee. Quiet and peaceful with easy access to the town of Au Train that has a small but well stocked store that makes homemade pasties!!!

Cory was a very nice person. He was very friendly and any questions I had, he responded right away. The cabin was pretty dirty when we got there. Mouse turds, so dusty and the bed had so much sand/dirt on it. But I messaged Cory and he got a cleaner out there within the hour and refunded me a cleaning charge. It's definitely a small cabin but Cory made sure to make our stay as good as he could.

Cute, cozy, welcoming cottage.
This cottage was perfect for my husband and I, on our long weekend away. Cory was easy to access and very responsive. Check-in & check-out was easy as well. All of our neighbors were polite and welcoming when we arrived, and I love that the “cottage rules” were on the refrigerator and easy to reference if we needed anything. My husband and I have already looked at larger AuTrain River Cottages, to return next summer with our family. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great little cabin getaway with lots of activity opportunities!
This was a great home base for our husband and I as we explored the great outdoor activities that the north shore of the UP has to offer. Between hiking, seeing waterfalls, going for drives, and eating local fare, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Came here from downstate as an anniversary getaway. Overall, everything was fine but just uncomfortable. The bathroom was hard to use due to how small it was. For reference, we are 5’8 and 5’7 and found it difficult. Our legs touched the wall when trying to use the toilet. We didn’t realize that this property was so close to the road— the sound of the cars driving by bothered us quite a bit. We came here to relax but didn’t feel that way when on the property. Overall, I would not stay again.

Property is in perfect location , scenic views throughout area . Located just blocks from Lake Superior with trails nearby. The waterfalls were beautiful and had our own little river outside cabin.

Spring Break UP style
The cabin was great. Recently updated but with rustic character. The view of the river and the quietude of the space in March were the best parts for us. For winter time make sure to bring an extra blanket. The one on the bed was not quite warm enough.

Perfect Rustic Getaway
This is a great place to find a relaxing getaway. Don’t expect a fancy hotel, this is definitely a small, rustic cabin but has everything you need: full kitchen, sitting area, nice bedroom and bath. It is just steps from the charming AuTrain River and the view from the porch in the fall is stunning. The owner is easy to deal with and responded quickly to our request when we had a need. We have stayed here three times (two in this cabin) and look forward to coming again. We love it!

Awesome Cabin!!!
We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and had an absolute blast! The cabin is absolutely adorable and very clean! The location was perfect for all of our adventures! Beautiful river and great nature views. We will absolutely be back and also will recommend to everyone!

Perfect little getaway
