The overall experience was okay. The beds were very nice and comfortable. The furniture is new and nice. The A/C and Heat worked well. The home, kitchen and all, has been nicely refreshed. It seemed like perhaps the host was not as experienced as other VRBO hosts we have experienced. We are accustomed to the VRBO having: more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, dish towels, more and better quality kitchen utensils, washer detergent/dryer sheets, some spices like salt and pepper, etc. Also the dishwasher leaked significantly on the floor and the top rack was broken. The dishwasher not working, along with the very specific directions and warnings of extra charges for not washing dishes, was off-putting. There was an old sofa and other things blocking one bay inside the garage, a drawer full of old mail from the prior owner in the kitchen and trash/stuff on the ground outside of the front door. Also it would have been good to know the back of the house and master bedroom and bathroom were bathed in light (24 hours a day) and noise from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm from the Whattaburger right behind the home. The windows do a good job of keeping out the noise on the inside, but the Master Bath and bedroom need really good black out curtains. Also you will experience the Whattaburger orders and car noises from the drive through 25 feet from the back fence anytime you are in the back yard.
