Wunderschönes Hotel als Halt auf der Durchreise. Inhaberin ist eine geborene Gastgeberin, die keinen Wunsch unerfüllt lässt. Vorzügliches Frühstück!

fröhliche Unterkunft
sehr fröhlich geführtes Gästehaus. Das Zimmer war sehr romantisch eingerichtet, sehr sauber ,nur ein bisschen klein.Frühstück lecker, allerdings wurde schon während des Frühstücks, das Buffet abgeräumt, was schade und ungemütlich war.

Great stay!
We arrived late due to traffic, but we had phoned ahead and despite the cold rainy night, there was a warm welcome waiting for us. Kerrington House was a good stop off for us on our way to Cornwall, not too far off the road and easily located - even on a dark and stormy December night! There is a small honesty bar that visitors are able to use and a comfy lounge area, We had a great room with a really comfortable bed. There was a good choice for breakfast next morning with plenty to choose from. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend!

Fiona (Owner) and her staff are friendly and courteous. Lovely to see everyone so cheerful in the morning. Our stay was excellent in all areas. We will definitely be returning. Our breakfast was prepared punctually and was absolutely scrumptious. The ingredients were excellent quality. The various options offered were remarkable. Kerrington House is definitely 5 stars and deserves it.

A Lovely Stay on the Jurassic Coast
We spent a night here during our long weekend trip to the Jurassic Coast. Fiona was delightful, kind, and so friendly. She warmly greeted us at check in and gave us all of the needed details about our stay. We stayed in room 4 "Gardenia" and found it to be very spacious and extremely comfortable with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was made-to-order and wonderful fuel for our long day of fossil hunting. When back in the area, we will absolutely stay here again. The value for the money is outstanding and it's impossible to find a hotel that will treat you better than Fiona will.

Lovely Axminster
Very lovely place only few minutes walking to Axminster centre town. The gist house is superb old fashion style where interior goes so well . Very comfortable and warm room spacious and you find a lovely fluffy bathrobe in the four posters room together with iron and tool for hair styles. Breakfast is generous and delicious.

Fantastic stay at Kerrington House. The room was exactly what we needed for attending a wedding in the area. Spacious, quiet room and with all the amenities you'd expect. Fiona and her team are wonderful and so attentive and professional. Highly recommend!

Fantastic and friendly Hotel
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the extremely friendly and attentive hotel manager. Nothing was too much trouble and we were delighted with our room as well the delicious breakfast. The location was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local beaches and wildlife park. Lots to do for families.

We received a warm welcome and great dinner suggestions for the evening. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hotel was better than it looks in the pictures and the service was friendly and really helpful. The breakfast portions were very generous and all the food tasted fresh and well cooked. There was plenty of choice and it was served promptly. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Charming, luxurious and very friendly.
We loved it. Easy to find in Axminster. Easy parking close to the front door and we were met and warmly welcomed. The charming and elegant Victorian house is beautiful and homely with a lovely sitting room. We were given a great upgrade - a spacious room upstairs with a large very comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom too. The English breakfast in the morning was beautifully prepared and a real delight. I wish we could have stayed longer but I had to get back to work in the morning. Will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Bed was comfortable and room warm when heating on. Water was not very hot either in the evening or morning, so showering wasn't particularly great and shower lacked any force. Dining room comfortable with snowy white tablecloths. Plenty of food choice for breakfast and well cooked. Was not happy that a large dog was blocking the doorway on arrival and owner slow to arrive to deal with it. Although assured said dog was friendly ( and appeared to be so) we were not happy about this as we are not 'doggy' people. There was also a distinct smell of dog on arrival, which was off putting, but not upstairs in the bedrooms.
