« Wonderful quirky and homely guest house that really felt like ‘home’ and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from arrival.
The street scene was beautiful and we parked super easy.
We stayed in the small double with the bathroom across the landing. Not for the prude, who prefer discretion, but we found it perfectly fine and a fun experience dodging guest movements up and down the stairway when using the bathroom. It is key locked, so no one else can use. Quite tight; I am 6ft 2in and found...

« We were disappointed by the experience. We were in a sort of prefab building overlooking the car park. The insulation was very poor, both thermal and acoustic. The bathroom tap didn't fit the basin. The electronic shower system didn't work properly, which led to wasted water. The only positive point of the stay was the staff: very friendly and pleasant. »

« We had a lovely stay at the Townhouse, our room was amazing and the property is on a quiet street close to the centre of Ayr and the seafront. We would happily stay again. »

« Room confort was OK but loud (windows and corridor) , no plug near the bed and small bathroom.
The hotel and furnitures are outdated and the service is poor. Coffee/tea/water... not refilled if you're staying.
Laundry took a week to get back when it's stated you give it in the morning and get it back in the evening.
Breakfast is alright but expensive for it's quality.
