Amazing!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We chose the destination to celebrate two milestone birthdays. The property was perfect for two couples and could have comfortably accommodated another. The home was beautifully situated in the jungle surrounded by wildlife and beautiful flowers. Cynthia and Karol were extremely gracious and took the guesswork out of our stay. Their curated experiences, suggested excursions, and help with transportation was extremely helpful. Finally, Chef Chino topped off the experience preparing delicious Costa Rican fare. La Experiencia will be on the top of our list to visit again.

Great views!

Beautiful deck for dinner and hanging out majority of our trip. There's a large supermarket in town for shampoo//conditioner/lotion basics that we didnt bring along with any food items you need. The views are out of this world and home is stocked with beach items like boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers. We will definitely be back!

Ballena Beauty

Wonderful visit from 06/29-07/06/2022. Cynthia was an excellent host; she has great recommendations and was able to assist with some unique travel needs we experienced in getting our entire group out there (and back!). Even though we visited during the start of the 'rainy season', the weather did not hinder any of our plans; we only had to reschedule 1 tour. In addition to staying at a fantastic property, the beaches and restaurants are so clean & staff are both welcoming and efficient, We Visited: *La Cusinga Lodge (grounds offer hiking, beach access, great views, & wonderful meal @ Acari); *’whale tail’ at Marino Ballena Natnl Park (at low tide you can walk out & see the ‘parting’ of the ocean-waves/water that ripple in opposing patterns) w/ lunch @ Ballena Bistro and Matt’s fav bite of homemade coconut + almond ice cream; *Playa Hermosa beach day to watch the surfers; *Farmer’s Market in OSA to taste local produce & meet community artisans; *Ladies hiked Nauyaca Waterfalls-boys took in a day of sport fishing; *boat trip to Corcovado Natnl Park & snorkeling @ Cano Island; *finished the trip with a farm-table dinner @ Rancho Cielo Alto (Jaz & her team cook the 4 courses where you can watch/learn through their open kitchen-incredible!). I now understand why you see & hear the phrase ‘Pura Vida’ everywhere you turn 💕. Their pure (or simple) life promotes beauty through a variety of landscapes & experiences. Thank you again!

LA EXPERIENCIA

Beautiful property and great location. Karol was extremely helpful and responded quickly when we wanted advice on restaurants, etc…. Definitely a place to get pampered if this is what you want. Ate at Arcari in La Cusinga Eco Lodge (extremely good food, great prices, gorgeous views, and very close to house) and La Ostra (on way to house, which was our favorite), and La Parcela (good food and great view). The people of Costa Rica are wonderful, friendly, very helpful and patient with our broken Spanish. We did take advantage of using the Chef “Chino” to celebrate many milestone anniversaries and birthdays. Fabulous!!

Beautiful home, would definitely stay here again

Our family loved staying at La Experencia, the home is located in a very private and quiet area. The view is amazing. Very clean and daily cleaning service was awesome. We all loved our stay in Uvita, can’t wait to go back.

Amazing house and location!!

This house is beautiful, and the view is even better! Great service as well. The property managers helped us with transportation, booking excursions, rental cars, and pretty much anything we needed help with. We all loved it, and would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic House!

This was a FANTASTIC house! The location was great and it was all around just as advertised. Karin helped us with transportation from the airport, a rental car was waiting for us upon arrival, and she scheduled several tours for us. All main activities we did, including several waterfalls and hikes were within 45 minutes ( at the most) from the house. The beach was down the hill over the main road-- less than a 5 minute drive- but you definitely need to drive it. The beach was beautiful and we were often the only ones on it. The most we ever saw were 4 other people. The house included daily maid service. There were also several books made that had a lot of activities and restaurant recommendations in them- these were very useful. We had problems with email communication prior to arriving ( on both ends) -- she was not receiving mine and at times I was not receiving hers. I am not sure why this occurred. Once we were down there, we communicated via text and she was very responsive to all our needs. The WIFI was a little sketchy at times- I contacted Karin and she called the company after which it seemed better. The house and area in general felt very safe. The house is within a gated community with about 4 other houses, there is a safe in the house, everything locks, and we never felt unsafe during our entire time there. Overall- would highly recommend and would go back!!

Girls Trip 2021

It was a great experience. The house was beautiful , clean and well maintained. They have someone who can help you plan your stay with finding things to do and even a chef if needed. They relieved a lot of stress and made our girls trip enjoyable.

This property is outstanding! The views were more than we ever expected. Cynthia and Karol are both wonderful and sincere people to work with and made this trip a vacation to remember. My family had the best time and we enjoyed all the amenities this property has to offer. Highly recommend.
