Traum im grünen
Eigentlich war das ein schönes Hotelzimmer mit sehr bequemen Bett, schönem Bad, geht man vor die Tür - so geniesst man das Camping Ambiente - grüne Palmen, Blumen, Vögel - ein Traum in sehr ruhigen Gegend.

Appreciate that it was a cheap stay and we chose the cheaper cabin option but cabins very aged and run down. Curtains stained and hard to get to close properly for privacy. Shower very small. If your looking for a bed for the night they do the job but I wouldn't recommend for a holiday. Especially if you had four people.

I liked the cabins layout and atmosphere with roomy private secure undercover outdoor area. All ages were accomodated by the variety of activities.

The economy cabin was just that. The fridge was so small we could not put anything much in it at all. The cooking facilities were two hotplates on top of a toaster oven. On the other hand the beds were very comfortable and we had a nice view of the water in Shaws Bay. Take your insect repellent because the sand flies and midges are deadly at sundown. Oh and the bathroom did not have a door!

The staff were lovely, particularly the ladies in the front office. For context we booked the Deluxe Waterfront Cabin. Bin liners we were supplied 1 for the whole week, very limited serving trays/bowls, two rolls of toilet paper for a family for 4 nights. I was not expecting daily cleaning, however with a full family I would expect every 2 days for a clean, bed change or towel change. Pool, Day 1 closed for Algae issue. Day 2 there was enough chlorine to bleach my hair white. The main pool needs a scrub and clean. Baby pool was beautiful. Putt Putt was great fun for kids.

We stayed here previously with our caravan in an ensuite site for 3 weeks and loved everything about our stay. Which is why we came back. This time, we opted to stay in a basic cabin. I'm sorry to say, it wasn't worth the price we paid this time 😞. It was not clean ( hair from previous guests ) in all areas, especially the bathroom. Ants and cockroaches. They did supply bug spray, but it didn't deter them. And the bed was so uncomfortable, we decided to leave a day early. The fridge froze everything even on the lowest setting, and the floor felt like it was going to fall through in some spots. The cabin was very disappointing. We would stay here again, but will only do so in our caravan.

Was disappointed that a few hours before arrival to get a text to say power would be out from 9.30 to 1.30 the next day, and then the day after that that water would be shut off at 7.30am and all this in the school holidays

Hi MarianSorry to hear your about your issues. Unfortuantely we are governed by outside utilities with power & water. Your stay coincided with their external maintenance which did impact the park. We apologize and hope it was only a minor inconvenience.

On our last afternoon the air conditioning began dripping/ leaking on my husband’s head who was sitting at dining table dripped continued to leak all night Manager notified straight away came and had a look then replied l won’t be able to get a tradie on a Friday afternoon, just use all the towels available too mop it up If this hadn’t happened 5 stars for sure, loved it

We only stayed one night but we definitely will be back! We have friends in town and so happy to have found a great place for us to stay when visiting. Easy check in and check out. The cabin was really clean and the aircon was on so it was pleasant to walk into. The blinds were the only thing that needed some attention cleaning wise BUT everything was fresh. The kitchen was well equipped and loved the fridge size. We thoroughly enjoyed the playground and mini water park. Perfect for our 1 year old and 6 year old. Only a quick drive to town and plenty of food options.

Great location and facilities for families. Economy cabin was in hindsight, too small for our family of 5 so luckily the weather was nice enough that we could be outdoors as much as possible. Would absolutely stay again, just in a bigger cabin!

For the price we paid (not during school holidays) it was not very clean, there was no house keeping and the facilities in the room were old and broken.
