Lovely house but inaccurate listing
Overall we had a lovely stay at this house. It was clean and quiet - perfect for our small group of friends. No major issues. Everything was in good repair except one leaky air mattress.
However - each room only has one bed. The basement room had a couch that converted to a bed. The three bedroom upstairs have one queen bed each. There is a collection of inflatable mattresses to augment these 3 beds plus one sofa bed.
I was supposed to get the door code 2 hours before check in, but it did not arrive in my email. It took 2 hours of back and forth with the property manager to finally get the door code. It arrived about 2 minutes before check in was allowed at 4 pm. That was VERY stressful as I was worried that we did not have a house and would have to scramble for a place.
I am not sure if the communication problem was due to the VRBO interface or the property's system. I have not had this issue at other VRBO properties.
There are no real grocery stores within walking distance - only corner stores with a very limited selection. I learned the meaning of a food dessert in the city, so that was educational.
