I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience at the Marriott Hotel in Baltimore was so unbelievably bad that I feel compelled to warn others. This hotel is nowhere near the standard you’d expect from a Marriott.
First, the bathroom was in horrible condition. The toilet had a persistent leak, and every time it flushed, there was a puddle forming around the base. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable.
The cleanliness of the entire room (and hotel in general) was beyond disappointing. The carpet was filthy—I wouldn’t even walk barefoot on it. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, stained and grimy throughout the room and down the hallways.
The bed was horribly lopsided, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. The mattress sagged on one side, and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable, offering zero support. I woke up with a sore back and a stiff neck both mornings.
Overall, the room felt like it had been neglected for a long time. From the poor maintenance to the general lack of cleanliness, it was clear that no care is being taken to keep this hotel up to any sort of standard.
I expected far better from a Marriott property. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.
