Ruhiges Haus in der Nähe von Bar Harbor, Acadia und dem Strand

Die Abby Lane liegt etwas außerhalb von Bar Harbor und eine 5-minütige Fahrt vom Acadia-Nationalpark entfernt. Der Strand von Hadley Point ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Haus entfernt.
Das Haus liegt auf 1 Hektar mit einem großen Garten und einer schönen Terrasse. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vermittelt ein zeitgemäßes Cottage-Feeling. Das Obergeschoss besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett, einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, einem Wohnzimmer, einer Küche und einem Vollbad.
Das Erdgeschoss ist über einen separaten Eingang unter dem Deck zugänglich. Es gibt ein großes Familienzimmer, ein Etagenbett, einen Spieltisch und ein 3/4-Bad.

Nice cabin in the woods

This was a nice cabin in the woods. The one strange thing is the downstairs is not connected to the upstairs in side the house. You have to go outside to get into the downstairs. We didn’t need the downstairs for sleeping so it was not an issue for us. Cabin is very cute and I loved all the personal artwork. Well stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, etc.

great location

Very quiet neighborhood with a short walk to a nice small beach. The home is comfortable and fully equipped with everything including paper goods and some spices and condiments. Great location with downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia Park entrances all nearby. You won't be disappointed; we would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect quiet getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at Abby Lane. The basement was perfect for our teenager. We loved how there were board games to play with the family and also many local brochures to help with planning. We appreciate how there were plenty starting products such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dish soap, and plenty of extra towels. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Having a stocked kitchen was incredibly helpful for breakfast each morning and we even noticed a large pot for cooking lobster! Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor kept us very busy but the quiet walk to the beach from the property was the perfect way to start or end our days.

Great service turns lemons into lemonade

Our group had a couple of unfortunate events upon our arrival and exit were all completely smoothed over by Aaron and his team through near instant communication and attention to detail that made our stay the enjoyable and memorable experience it was. The place is 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor that made easy access to everything. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. When you have a host willing to go above and beyond, the VRBO vacations are all the better!

A peaceful retreat close to Acadia!

This house was absolutely perfect for our week long vacation. It was peaceful and quiet and exactly as described. The owner (Aaron) was quick to respond to our questions the house’s various amenities made our stay incredibly enjoyable. This property is within an easy walk to Hadley Cove (a small dog friendly beach) and peaceful neighborhoods for strolling. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Abby Lane!

Quiet house away from the hustle

Loved the 2 bed rooms on the first floor and the cooler downstairs room to have family time for fun and games. All the amenities you need for a family or just a couples get away! Great communication with the owners. Nice walk to Hadley Beach for some sunsets.

Abby Lane was great

Our family had a lovely stay at Abby Lane. It was clean, quiet, and nestled in the woods. The upstairs had an adequately stocked kitchen, with a table and chairs, comfortable living room, two bedrooms and a full bath. There is a lovely deck that looks out into the woods. The lower level is very cool (layout and temperature), has a couch that folds out into a bed, a large sectional and tv, a shower and washer/dryer. They also provide some fun games that allowed us to have great laughs. The location is close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. If you don't wish to drive but want the water, there is a beach a short walk down the road. The hosts were accurate in their pictures and description of the property and also very responsive to questions. We give it a 5 out of 5! Even our little doggy liked it. Note, they provide pet sheets and they keep them separate from the people sheets. A very thoughtful gesture! Thank you! And we would all definitely stay there again!

Nice house near Bar Harbor

We loved our off-season stay at this little house. Comfy, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and includes the conveniences of home. Just a few minutes walk to a nearby stone beach. Grateful to have a place like this to bring our dog on the trip! Host communication was responsive and helpful. Only good things to say about this VRBO property.

Very nice, quaint place in the woods, with easy access to town and Acadia National Park. It was cold and windy with snow but the house was cozy and warm. Our favorite accouterment in the house was the large pot we boiled our lobsters in!

Cozy Cottage

Abby Lane was exactly as described! Quiet and relaxing location. The basement portion would be great if older children came along. The main house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Aaron was very quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend booking Abby Lane!

The cottage was very comfortable. The upstairs/downstairs arrangement worked well for people "working from home." Very close to Hadley Point Beach. About a ten minute drive from downtown Bar Harbor. Very quiet neighborhood.

We had a very nice stay. The place is cute and rustic. The queen bed was extremely firm to the point of uncomfortable, but if you like a very firm mattress then you will be happy. Hosts were kind and house was in a very nice location.

Great cabin in an awesome location.

This rental provided everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, quiet and just big enough for our group of 6. After a long day of exploring the island, our boys (13 & 11) loved chilling out in the separate lower level, while the adults in our group loved hanging out on the deck. It was pretty perfect.

Comfortable house in a great location for touring MDI.

The house was perfect for us. Plenty of space so our two teenagers could game and watch movies downstairs without disturbing my husband and I (good sound proofing). They didn't hear us upstairs either. We enjoyed the big windows and skylights for light and view of the woods. The kitchen had what we needed for the modest meals we cooked. It was handy having spices and condiments, and we were glad for the coffee filters, since we didn't bring that kind (cone). We enjoyed walking to Hadley Pt beach for sunset and kayaking there. It was fun feeding the neighbor's turkeys and chickens when they roamed by at dinner time (banana peel was a big hit). The internet speed was great and we had no trouble with cable or hooking up to the TVs. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The washer and dryer were handy. We appreciated the cleaners, cleaning supplies, and tools. The location was so convenient to Bar Harbor and grocery store, Acadia NP visitor center and loop road, and to the quieter western side of MDI. We definitely would stay here again.

We loved our stay!

My group of 6 stayed at the property this week. We really enjoyed the location, amenities provided by the host, and overall set up of the house. The space was perfect for 6 adults. A lot rentals try to squeeze as many people into the property as possible but this was very much not this case for this host which is something I appreciate and enjoyed. I read many reviews saying there was a lack of towel and poor taste to the water but I can assure everyone the host took that into account and provided ample filtering as well as towels for our stay. It is nice to see hosts take in account what past guests have to say. My group of friends enjoyed how the basement was a separated but that may not be ideal for all groups so watch out for that. The only small complaint I have is that the host did not respond super speedy to my messages in VRBO we never ran into a problem but if there were to be a major problem with the house it would have taken a lot of time for them to address that. Overall my crew enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!

My fiance and I had such a beautiful time here in Maine! Aaron was so accommodating, and the house was amazing, clean, and comfy. We are so grateful to have had this experience. We saw the town of Bar Harbor, ate delicious food, and hiked Cadillac mountain. We will definitely be booking through Aaron any time we come back to this beautiful part of Maine.
