Excellent Hotel - in the Shopping area
Certainly an excellent hotel, but... we love Four Seasons Hotels all over the world, that is the benchmark all other luxury hotels have to be measured on. It was the second time we stayed at a Mandarin Oriental hotel, pricewise, they would like to position themselves well above the Four Seasons Hotels. What you get for your money is certainly a luxury experience, but it is not better than other luxury hotels, and that is why we somehow were a bit disappointed. A vegetarian green curry to the room was charged at over 30 Euros, and it was really small. The staff is very professional, but somehow not particularly friendly. I also did not like the call the day before we left, where I was asked if I could tell them, when we would like to leave the next day. It felt as if they can't wait for us to leave. Don't get me wrong here, this is a really really good hotel, it just does not set itself apart enough from other luxury brands, despite the very high price that sets expectations just a little bit too high.

Verbesserungswürdig: Komfort des Zimmers
Sehr kleines unpraktisches Zimmer, man kann gerade mal um das Bett gehen, Bad ebenfalls unpraktisch, nur ein Waschbecken und alles mit Glas gebaut im Zimmer, man hört alles, auch geringhörig zu Nachbar, alle Türen extreme schwergängig, ein Kind kann diese nicht öffnen Service in jeder Beziehung sehr schwach, zum Beispiel Frühstück, man muss alles mehrmals anmahnen und es geht sehr lange, Buffet ist sehr umfangreich, Buchungen für Ausflüge sind proktisch ohne Unterstützung, wir gingen am Schluss zu offizielen Buchungsbüro in der Stadt

Alles gut, mit Abstrichen....
4 Tage Kurztrip nach Barcelona in einem Hotel mit Top Bewertung.....nachdem wir erst um 22 Uhr- also im dunkeln- eingecheckt haben ist es uns nicht aufgefallen das unser Zimmer (110) quasi im Keller war und somit für jeden der sich im Innenhof befunden hat voll einsehbar gewesen ist. Das elektrische Verdunkelungsrollo schloss zwar Blichdicht, wir saßen aber dann ohne Tageslicht im Zimmer. Das zweite Ärgernis war das Frühstück welches für 45€ völlig übertrieben teuer war..... Gratis Wlan nur in der Lobby, wer sich im Zimmer ins Wlan einloggt zahlt 15€ pro Tag!! Ansonsten sehr stylisch, freundlich und in top Lage.

Padrão Mandarim + Excelente time.
Hotel incrível nos padrões do MO. Porém o pessoal do concierge fez toda a diferença na minha estada. Pablo com um conhecimento inigualavel da cidade, atrações e restaurantes. Eric foi incansável para viabilizar o nosso tour de helicoptero nos poucos dias que tivemos. As pessoas fazem toda a diferença.
