„Great little property, just outside York City centre. a pleasant 15 minute walk along the river and you are in the city. Have no complaints, the property was clean, modern decor and facilities, well appointed kitchen, perfect for our needs.“

We booked through vrbo but then ended up dealing with an outfit called Sykes Cottages who ended up charging us more (not a lot more but more than the ad quoted) and they were a nightmare to deal with. Their intervention felt like a scam. Luckily our stay was enjoyable but Sykes should be avoided. “
