„Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. „Das "The Bridge Inn" ist eindeutig empfehlenswert. Ich habe für den Zustand nur eine mittlere Bewertungen gegeben da die Aussenterasse mit ein paar Blumen ganz schnell verschönert werden könnte. Ansonsten hat das Inn alles was wir davon erwarten.“

„Staff were brilliant, so kind and helpful. Really went the extra mile. Close proximity to amenties, such as windermere. Food was impeccable, we thoroughly enjoyed. Room very quirky and clean. We were placed next to the log burner for dinner, which staff kindly accomodated. Overall 9/10 Only marked down due to only having full fat milk available for breakfast, which we aren't able to drink so missed out on our coffee. We have rebooked already for summer.“

"The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet connection broke down every night. The location is great, but there's some work to do to bring it back to its standard. "
