Nouveau sur VRBO juin 2019! La maison Hendrickson peut accueillir 5. 1 grand canapé-lit dans le salon, 1 très grand lit et 1 lit simple à l'étage dans la chambre. (12 marches à l'étage) (2) salles de bain, 1 en haut et 1 en bas.

La maison Hendrickson (1102 pieds carrés) est un condo de vacances joliment décoré et entièrement meublé dans le quartier historique de Bayfield avec des planchers de bois franc et d'ardoise, une cheminée, un bain à remous, une cuisine complète et du câble. Salon au 1er niveau avec grand canapé-lit, canapé-lit, télévision à écran plat, WIFI, cuisine complète et bien équipée comprenant café, crème, sucre, toutes les assiettes, ustensiles de cuisine, verres à vin, essuie-tout et plus encore! Grande terrasse à l'arrière avec table et chaises. Ainsi que table et chaises sur le porche avant. Montez les escaliers jusqu'à la chambre avec 1 lit queen, 1 lit jumeau, salle de bains avec douche et baignoire à jets. Vues sur le lac. Situé à Rittenhouse Ave et North Broad Street, vous êtes au centre-ville de Bayfield, Wisconsin, avec des magasins et des restaurants à quelques pas. We loved our stay! We had everything we needed for a few days in the Bayfield area. It was nice to be able to walk to pretty much anything we wanted to in town. The nature trail near by was a bonus. The house was clean and the bedroom was spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Great for family get away to Bayfield

This is a house with a great location near restaurants, shopping and lake. Nice lake views. It was fully remodeled with wood floors, a hot tub and deck. Has a nice kitchen area with all the amenities. This is the second time my wife and I stayed here with another couple. The only drawback is a lack of closet space to hand clothes.

Don’t Miss This One

Location is perfect for enjoying Bayfield while still giving the feeling of being tucked away from the main drag. It was immaculately clean and had all the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. This time it was just two of us but we could have easily fit 3 more and still not felt cramped. We will be back, thanks for a great stay!

Nice house, nice location

This was a nice property, very clean. The location is great, walking distance to shops, dining and cruises in Bayfield. It's not really 2 bedroom as the second sleeping area is the couch pull out bed, but it was fairly comfortable anyway. We had a nice stay.

What a Jewel!

First let me say that the photos don’t do this place justice! It is SO much better than the pictures. It was super clean and welcoming. The location is walkable to everything and perfect. We were traveling with my elderly parents. They slept upstairs in the bed and my husband and I took the sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa has the sheets of the previous guests oddly still on it but thankfully there was a fresh set still in the box with the pillows and blanket. The sofa bed was… well… a sofa bed. Nothing great but serviceable. It could stand some WD-40. The water pressure was good. The fridge is a little odd please note it is NOT a full sized fridge. The kitchen was pretty well appointed. The upstairs bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. Some reviews harp on the fact that there isn’t a door at the top of the stairs but because of the layout of the house we did not find this problematic AT ALL. We had plenty of privacy and no one’s hearing anyone snoring or whatever. My parents really wanted to watch cable and never did get it to work but we were oddly able to get our local news in NC. We were there to see the sights though so who cares about the TV. No one was upset about it. This place is beautiful! Definitely a great find. Worth every penny.

Right in the Heart of Town

This property’s best feature is it’s location— steps away from all Bayfield has to offer! It was nice to be able to walk anywhere. The house was clean and pleasant. The upstairs windows have views of Lake Superior!

This cottage was clean and cute. It was the perfect location because it was walking distance to all of downtown Bayfield. We loved the area. Bayfield was very charming.

Bait and Switch?....

The furnace had died the day before we arrived. When we finally called to receive the never-sent door code the house was 41ºF inside. My husband called the host to report the imminent freezing of the pipes and was met with a strange disinterest. At one point, the host suggested that he would sue us if any pipes froze!. He offered us an apartment he owned in the same town. What do you say to that at 9pm in a small town? We later discovered it had fewer beds than the house we originally rented causing our children, who were still driving up, to pass on the chance over fight over who had to sleep on the floor. They turned around and went home. We finally reached the host the next morning alerting him to our departure. Our vacation was clearly over but he said it was all our fault, citing his rigid cancellation rpolicy. Worst experience ever with VRBO! Good Luck to you....!

Great location and nice space!

We had a great stay at Hendrickson House and will likely stay there again! We LOVED the location as well as the comforts of the main floor living space. I think there was an opportunity for it to be a bit cleaner - we had an 11 month old who spent a lot of time on the floor, and he definitely didn't come up clean! I also wish there was more clarity on the lack of separation between the upstairs sleeping spaces - the second room is more of an open closet/alcove with a twin bed, and it got quite warm in there. I also wish there was more comfortable deck and porch seating. Overall, as mentioned, we will likely stay again as the space and location are ideal.

Perfect stay in Bayfield

The upstairs bedroom and sitting area is terrific, but even the downstairs pull-out was very comfortable with the extra padding included with the linens. Downstairs dining and sitting area is all anyone could wish. Kitchen is fully supplied with dishes, pots, utensils, two small refrigerators and a nice flat-top stove. Both a regular Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig machine supplied. Both the front and back porches were pleasant retreats at different times of the day. Location is perfect. Would absolutely stay again.

Cozy and Convenient Stay

We loved staying at the Hendrickson House! The best part about this property is the location. You’re no more than 5 minutes from anything you may need in Bayfield. Andy’s market less than a minute walk has every grocery need covered, delicious restaurants and ice cream shop mere steps away, and the pier that includes the car ferry and the castle tours right down the road. Additionally, this house has a great outdoor patio for cozy evening dinners and the kitchen is well equipped, we made a full breakfast with ease. My only comment is please note that the spare bedroom is located in the master bedroom (they aren’t separate), so just know you’ll be sharing that space with whomever is in the master. This was fine for us because we were traveling as a family. 100% recommend this location. Loved our stay here.
