„My stay was short but very enjoyable. It seems the hotel has been recently refurbished. It is stylish, comfortable, functional and has all the little things I appreciate on travels: TV, internet and proper parking space. Full points.“

„Rustikale charmante Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück“

„The place was lovely and clean and the owner was very welcoming I really recommend the place“

„excellent location, friendly staff in a country house with a modern feel.“

„The owners and the staff are extremly polite and customer-friendly. Very patient with kids. The check-in was very detailed and helpful Food and beverages meet high standards. Breakfast freshly made. The lodge itself is beautiful and in very good conditions. Rooms are spacious and clean. Located near to multiple points of interest. “

„Lovely property by the river with a spacious room with a balcony overlooking it. Super comfy bed. Modern bathroom with a nice tub, underfloor heating and great L’occitane products. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were super friendly. Parking was available at the property free of charge which was definitely a plus.“

„The owners were lovely. The place was clean and well located. The dining room with fridge and facilities was a great resource. Fantastic stay - highly recommended!“

„Es ist leider ein Fakt, dass die Einzelzimmer sehr klein und auch nur mit Aussicht auf den Innenhof und die Küche sind. Sind Einzelreisende weniger wert als Paare?“

„I can not fault this hotel one bit! From the minute we arrived the staff were super helpful. Our room was amazing! Close to walk into the town. We ordered our evening meal through the hotel, and wow… the most gorgeous food I’ve eaten in a long time! Overall book it you won’t be disappointed.“

„Everything was perfect and amazing thank you so much definitely will go again“

„The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet ...

„It was a nice experience. Very well situated, with good service. Really good facial treatments“

„Das Bett war leider unbequem, weil viel weiche Matratze.“

„The communal areas in the hotel were lovely and the staff were friendly. The room we were allocated however was very disappointing for the price. We paid £194 for one night with a £20 additional charge for bringing our dog. The room we were given felt cramped and as it was on the ground floor, there was very limited natural light. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not great.“
