« We had the private villa with the balcony . The place it self is nice with an ocean view. The bar is only open until 9 which is a downer but the drinks are reasonable priced. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport so no need for a taxi to get to and from which I liked. Right by the beach which was nice. You can tell the property is older but it is nice and quiet. They have cats and roosters on the property. Seem like the island is known for that, they donât bother anyone tho. »

« Rooms were great, Food and drinks were amazing, but not a single place to get water after 11pm, not a single vending machine actually took cash, I checked all 5 on location, and the one night I went to the convenience store a half hour before there listed close they denied me at the door when all i wanted was water and a snack for late night. Overall i had a good experience but i wish i had better access to basic needs, like no access to pool towels, having to call housekeeping to check my door...

« The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt Iâm staying at Hotel 1829! »

« Great location and wonderful staff! Karen and Dave were so helpful with restaurant recommendations, beach recommendations and Dave planned a full day road for us. The small pool was so nice to have after a hot walk back from town. Nice to have complimentary rum punch happy hour. Appreciated the free use of beach chairs, snorkel equipment, floaties !
Only thing that could be improved on was the breakfast. Would have loved some yogurt and fruit! »
