« Vieille auberge dans un joli village du Northumberland. Accueil aimable et ambiance trÚs british; moquette omniprésente, comme partout en Grande-Bretagne cela dit, allergiques s'abstenir. Notre chambre au 3e était simple, mais fonctionnelle - notre seul vrai reproche est la literie (matelas trÚs mous avec un gros creux au milieu). Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner, servi dans une salle à part: ce n'est pas précisé sur leur site mais ils proposent de vrais choix de petit-déjeuner outre l'éternel...

« 5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. »

« Charming cottage, in a quiet location close to the Roman sites we wanted to visit along Hadrian's Wall. Stylish with comfortable beds and sofas and all we needed for self-catering - even solar garden lights for evening drink in sun. Lovely to be greeted with prosecco, beer and chocolates (thank you!) « We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal.
