Overall, we had a good stay. Kids loved the pool and hot tub (jets didn’t work). Wi-Fi was on the slower side. Cons: it seems like all the headboards were loose as ours (and our neighbors) would bang every time you moved around in bed.

It wasn’t about the property specifically, but I called and asked if it would be better to go through Expedia or go through the hotel directly and they told me it wouldn’t make any difference. But when I got to the hotel, they asked me if I wanted to sign up for best Western rewards.and they could give me a $50 gift card. Come to find out I’m already at best Western rewards member so I was not eligible for the $50 gift card. Plus, I also end up spending $25 more because they didn’t put my membership information in. Also, my points have not been credited to me. Also there was a promotion where you could stay two nights and get a third night free and now I feel like I’m missing out on that promotion. I hope somebody responds and makes it everything right

This was a nice hotel in a very convenient location, close to Target, Trader Joe's, and many other stores and restaurants. I did call on Sunday or Monday before our trip the following weekend to check if the hot tub was in good working condition, and it was confirmed that it was. Then we arrive and I overhear that the hot tub is down and it was also blocked off. Huge disappoint! That was one of the main highlights for our weekend family trip, and we were all very disappointed. Also, something very sharp pricked my big toe between the tile and carpet, likely some staple or whatever is used to keep the carpet down. That hurt and bled a bit, but when I told the front desk, the maintenance person was right there and planned on taking care of it right away so that was really great to see and hear that they take those maintenance issues seriously. We would stay again, but would cancel beforehand if we found out the hot tub was down again. Probably call the day before our trip instead to check.

Room could use some updating, especially the stained carpeting. It smelled like carpet deodorizer when I arrived, and was difficult on my asthma. I had to leave the fan running continuously the three days I was there. Bedding covers were old and worn.

Great service and comfortable
Would definitely recommend! The front desk staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was filling and had a variety of delicious options. Felt this place was a great value. It was a short and easy drive into downtown Bend. There are also a variety of shops and restaurants very close which made for a quick and easy dinner. Would stay again

Excellent amenities for the price.
Best Western Plus North Bend was the only decent-looking hotel we could find that had rooms at a reasonable price for a weekend. For what we paid, the cleanliness, service, and included amenities far exceeded our expectations. Their free breakfast also exceeded expectations - it actually included real, hot food, and not the typical "continental breakfast" of days old expired coffee and pre-packaged junk food. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the best things about a Best Western Plus is the breakfast. Good selection of hot and cold items and the coffee was always good.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - the breakfast staff were very hard working and were always cleaning or restocking items that were running low. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom fixtures were modern with an excellent shower.

My husband and I often find that hotel beds are very soft and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. I asked the clerk who checked us in for a room with an extra firm bed. She allowed us to check out our room to make sure the bed was firm enough. It was. We felt she went beyond the usual level of care for our needs.

Unfortunately, I have to give Best Western Plus Bend North with a terrible review mostly with customer service. This would have been a go to hotel for us had this incident not happened. The hotel itself was fine however I was charged $150 for an incident that happened after my family checked out. We were accused of smoking in the room which is impossible because my husband and I are both non-smokers. We also had with us our 12 year old daughter who can absolutely attest to this fact. It is very unprofessional to acuse paying customers of wrongful doings. When I discovered the charge, I knew it had to be a mistake because I ALWAYS leave our hotel rooms or airb&bs in top notch condition. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't there at the time so I called back again at the time I that she would be in and I was given the complete run a round. I still have yet to speak to the manager. I hope that the hotel does the appropriate thing and reimburses my credit card. I'm not sure how this even happened but it is concerning that hotels can do this even after charging high rates to stay there to begin with. We would have made frequent stays at Best Western Plus Bend North if this had not happened, but the hotel management can not be trusted here. Dont stay here. There are plenty of other options. I will follow up to let other consumers know if the hotel did the right thing and reimburses my credit card.
