« We had a unique experience, I specifically choose this property for its rustic surrounding. The property is lovely, we travelled in April, and the orange and lemon trees were bearing fruit, we ate these and were amazing! The kids loved feeding the goats. The pool was too cold to use but the jacuzzi was great. The house being stone was cold, and hot water is limited but that’s part of the rustic life, we used the heaters. « Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! « Stunning property with a view that will take your breath away. We were two families of 4 and the adults took one room each and the 4 kids slept in the large third room. Close to all the wonderful river beaches. Stayed 8 days. Manuela a great host. Pool is fantastic and there is a separate BBQ poolside if that is your thing. The road is quite rough getting there so if you hire a car then err on the SUV side and give it a clean before you return it! Don’t trust the Google map directions near...
