„Stayed as two families - 4 adults 3 kids. V clean and well maintained, good facilities and attentive customer service. Only drawback is open decking so others can walk past whilst sitting out but that’s fine for a weekend.“

„We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with such a stunning view. It was listed as 8 adult and 2 children but I would say it only slept 9 comfortably. Two beds were crammed into a tiny room which wasn’t ideal. Otherwise it was warm, and very well equipped. “

„We stayed for our wedding weekend, it was just what we wanted, although the weather wasn’t great for the weekend we still had a great time, watching the rain dance on the lake and nice chilled days in the swimming pool and spa. We have stayed in the Lower Mill Estate before so knew what to expect, and we always love it! “

„We’ve been to this estate before so we know how beautiful it is, such an incredible holiday! The only issue is that the listing stated that the property was 4 bedrooms and when we arrived one of those bedrooms had a sofa bed, as I have 3 children it was all a bit of a squeeze! It was fine in the end. „The property is very modern and well presented. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The position of the property was perfect, overlooking the lake at the back and overlooking the park/tennis courts from the kitchen window which was a bonus for allowed the children to play outside not far from home. The hot tub was lovely even in the rain.“

„We travelled from the US to visit with family and friends and we were pleased to learn of all the amenities that come with this property. We were able to rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and tennis rackets. The lake view from the back of the property was lovely.“

„We came from Canada to visit family and this was the ideal place! Charming, warm, well-equipped cottage with comfy beds and lots of room to entertain. We could invite family and friends over to the restaurant, or get wonderful frozen dishes at the resort store, plus wine and ice cream. Everywhere was level and paved so our less mobile visitors were able to join us on walks.“

„Our Accomodation met all our needs. The kitchen was a little small but adequate. We loved being able to paddle board from the rear of our Accomodation. We did get stuck in the reeds though. Perhaps they need a little trim. The outdoor pool was heated so the kids were happy to splash around before dinner. We didn’t use the Spa. „Bluebell Cottage is beautifully equipped and maintained, and offers very comfortable accommodation. Its position ensures that visitors enjoy a quiet, relaxing break with the opportunity to pay for extra facilities if needed. We feel Claire went above and beyond to answer any queries we had, and was charming and approachable.“

Alles in allem war es gut

"Gutes Hotel im gehobenen Preissegment. Das ist es meiner Meinung nach nicht Wert. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze, leider werden morgens die Wege durch die Reisebusse der Gruppenreisen versperrt. Soll ja auch niemand einen Schritt zu weit laufen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, wird nach ein paar Tagen aber eintönig. Keinerlei Abwechslung, kein Käse..., nur englisch breakfast. Ist man gleich zu Beginn der Öffnungszeiten dort, ist einiges noch nicht fertig oder verfügbar. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist bemüht freundlich. Im Poolbereich wird schon eine halbe Stunde vor Schließzeit wird mit dem Aufbau der Reinigungsgeräte begonnen. Sicherlich möchte das Personal auch Feierabend haben, doch Kundenorientierung sieht anders aus. Der Poolbereich dürfte gerne auch innerhalb der Öffnungszeiten einmal grob gereinigt bzw. Aufgeräumt werden. Sauberkeit im Zimmer war gut. Fenster im Zimmer ließ sich nur sehr schwer öffnen. Es gab ausschließlich englische Fernsehsender. "
