This house has a lot of potential but the others who mentioned the home needs more attention from the owners are accurate. First, the amount of broken items in the home was very surprising. When we first arrived my children were very excited about the foosball table, but then we quickly realized the legs were broken and there wasn’t a ball in sight. After that I took pictures of all the broken shelves, cabinets and walls so nothing would be blamed on my family. Secondly, the house appeared like it wasn’t cleaned by professionals. It wasn’t filthy, but the amount of dust on shelves, crumbs on the floor, spider webs in kitchen light fixture and dirt all over the ceiling felt like the cleaning job was likely quickly done and without fidelity. It bothered us enough that we do some sweeping and wiping ourselves. BE AWARE: There are exposed spikes at the entrance to the rooms. We also weren’t able to get the remotes to work, but had a Roku app that allowed us to control the tvs from our phones. We planned on playing games from their game room that were pictured but all the games were broken or missing pieces. It was definitely disappointing as my children were looking forward to having a game night during our stay in Big Bear.The best thing about the place is definitely the hospitality of the owners. They were wonderful from first communication to last. They were attentive to our needs.
