This peaceful two bedroom cabin is situated on 160 acres of a pristine Alaska homestead land in Big Lake Alaska, known as The Dogstead. The cabin comfortably sleeps 6-7 people. With a full kitchen and bathroom, as well as an outdoor fire pit and picnic table, the cabin is a tranquil place situated on forested, private land with views of three mountain ranges. It is perfect for a weekend getaway, a great place to stop on your travels north towards Denali, or a great gathering spot for small parties and events. The property also houses several yurts for larger parties. The yurts each sleep up to 5 comfortably, with two queen beds and a twin bed in each one. The cabin has full amenities including a full kitchen, full bathroom, 2 California King beds, a futon, and a twin bed. There is a also a washer and dryer.
Whether you’re relaxing inside or exploring nearby, this unique property provides a fantastic base for your adventures. In the winter, the northern lights can be viewed from your deck or while sitting by the firepit. They put on a fabulous display all Fall, Winter and Spring, During the summer months the property has walking trails and a peaceful creek for floating or fishing!
