« The desription of the cabin as "Scenic Alaskan cabin in the mountains" is NOT accurate. It is an old 2 story duplex, not a cabin. This place is in a run down neighborhood right off the Glenn Hyw in earshot of the traffic noise. Yes, there is a mountain in front of the house, but everything in Alaska has a mountain in view. « There were 4 of us in our party and our host was most accommodating. One of our travelers was handicapped and since we had a hightop table, our host brought us a new table and 4 chairs. They even brought us a big pot to cook our chili. Would definitely stay again. Great stay. »

The neighborhood is quiet and the property is modest from the outside, but then you open the door and are transported to an oasis of serenity. Everything is so clean and well maintained. « Great location and very clean with modern features throughout the house. House is new and well built, the covered porch overlooking the lake is a nice addition. Kitchen is perfect for families, plenty of counter space. Lots of cabinets for storage too. All the dishes and cookware you need as well. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are very nice too. Quiet secluded neighborhood. Kids loved watching the ducks and other wildlife around the lake. Price is very reasonable as well. Will stay here again....
