« Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! « We had brief but a great stay at The Burrow. The house was spacious, well equipped with all the necessities and nicely decorated. The best part was the location right next to the river and so close to Waratah waterfalls. Would definitely recommend and love to stay there again. »

« Basic, adequate accommodation. Lots of nice touches. Clean. Having the washer and dryer was great. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The heater would only go on 0 or 4, so it was difficult to manage warmth. A bigger bin in the kitchen would be useful. »
