« Very warm welcome, I was travelling with my dog, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms exceptionally clean, towels super soft. Lovely size room. Very comfortable . Went into Bar for coffee, very friendly also 7 of us had Sunday lunch, everything was very nice. Will definitely stay again. »

« Quaint location in an historical building. Some uneven floorboards and doors would get stuck, but that’s to be expected ina building several hundred years old. »

« A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain. Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out. The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked.
