Thank you for your nice review. Blanding is a quaint little town and treasures it's down home hospitality. I find it different in the sense that it prides itself for being what it is...A quaint little town untouched by the corruption and hate of large towns. It's nice to be a part of this town but takes some adjustments to get use to it.

While the high tech cablesystem is new to most people, it allows up to viewing ability to 150 channels without weather interruption due to our location. In addition, if you have streaming abilities on your home TV, it allows you to tap into our system using your password. It does take away to view major stations on an immediate basis but its always available at a later time after the particular has previously broadcasted it. Considering this is the first complaint we have ever received, it would help if you could let me know your room number so I can focus on whom cleaned your room prior to your arrival. we have 3 separate inspections on every room before our guest arrive. If we have dropped the ball, we apologize for the inconvenience. The property has been through a complete remodel so we do our best on the upkeep to keep it fresh. Again, thank you for your input.

Thank you for your good review. We are in the process of training some new employees. Some are very experienced, some are mediocre and 1 is very green around the collar. Its normal as you cannot train during slow season, they never get enough experience. That being said, I believe in every one of them, they are superstars in the rough. The property has only been open for 1 year after its remodel. I loved your comments about the property and breakfast. I wish the walk was less, especially at this altitude. The refrigerator may seem small especially if you are traveling with family. when renovating the property this past year, we stocked all rooms with the standard size fridge that is used in the industry. If you come this way again and have extra items needing refrigeration, please contact the front desk and we will see if we can fit in one of our larger units in the kitchen for you. Thank you for staying with us. As a frequent traveler myself, I find it irritating that other guests are not considerate when coming into the hotel especially during night hours. We are very fortunate with our location that at least 95% of incoming guests are usually in and asleep early. There are some stragglers but we do no usually havelate guests checking in and most seem to be conscientious of other guests that may be sleeping. It was a pleasure meeting you and we apprciate your business.

Thank for staying with us Rene. I agree on wanting to se local channels and have to go the route of adding FUBU so I can get them. That being said, when you are in a remote location, it comes in handy to have streaming as opposed to cable or satellite because you can view your shows more consistently l when the weather is bad. it was a pleasure having you with us and look forward to seeing you again if your travels bring you our way.
