« Fabulous location overlooking the market place with convenient free parking options. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. I’ll definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the new developments there as it really is a place that’s growing and developing. »

« This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine...

« Really lovely hotel and good value for money. The beds are really big and comfortable. Free toiletries in the room. Kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. The rooms were big. We had a ground floor superior room and it had a little terrace outside with patio doors and a chair and table. The grounds of the hotel are so lovely and beautiful. It is a 5 minute drive from Sheringham and was the perfect base for a Norfolk trip. »

« The family room with a double bed and bunk beds for the children was a good size. The hotel even provided a Z bed free of charge for our 6`2" son in case he could not fit into the bunk bed. « Just what you would expect from a seaside hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful we had a great evening meal, that we were not disappointed with.
