This cottage on Great Bear Lake has the potential of being terrific, if not for these issues that were not addressed by the owner. The oven was not working at all and the grill that the owner told me to use instead was so filthy that we had to line it with foil to use because we had no other means of cooking our meat. Only 2 gas burners on the stove were in working order. It would have been nice to know that the stove/oven was not working before we arrived. Also we paid for the pontoon usage that was advertised on the VRBO listing that it came with a full tank of fuel. It had less than 1/2 for our stay. The lake, dock, fire pit were all beautiful, esp at the end of the day. I would like VRBO users to know that when I call VRBO customer service they were very helpful in trying to address these issues with the owner when he would not accommodate any of my requests to address these problems. I would make sure these concerns are corrected if you plan to rent here.
