« Nous n’avons que peu dormi 2 jours sur 4 à cause des voisins en party ou arrivés ds la nuit et faisant beaucoup de vacarme ……déplorable ! J’étais sur ce site pour me reposer en vacances et faisions bcp de vélo le jour au Parc Acadia ! C’était magique ! Le BBQ du Mercredi soir à peu de frais était très apprécié ! Nous aurions apprécié savoir qui était responsable de l’endroit pour sentir qu’un responsable tenait compte de la quiétude du site ! Sinon , l’endroit était plus que parfait …..tout...

« Imagine walking into a warm and cozy suite illuminated by Christmas tree lights and the reflection of Penobscot Narrows Bridge on the bay and freshly fallen snow AFTER a 24-hour flight delay. This was the welcome Lauri created for us when we arrived at midnight. We traveled from Florida to watch our son play basketball at MMA and even though we lost a day, the entire experience we had made up for it. « This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped.
Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west.
The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

« Loved being within walking distance of everything in town! We used the car only to go up to Acadia and walked everywhere else. Showers were hot and bed was comfortable. I don’t know if it was the bed or the walking, but it was the best sleep I’ve had in quite awhile. Must be happiness! »
