The property itself was nice and kitchen well stocked. A bit further out from town than we realized but overall a nice stay for a group. The cabin is VERY spread out so everyone had their own space and we weren't crowded (even at mealtimes). Our issue came up after we checked out. A few days later, I got an email stating they charged me $370, claiming we broke into a locked owners' closet and drank wine/champagne and left the half drunk bottles, which we absolutely did not. Took several phone calls and emails to resolve and I'm still waiting for the charge to be reversed on my credit card. They also claimed that we had 'too much laundry' and charged additional laundry fees. The property says it sleeps 19 and we had 14 people (5 less than the max). How did we have 'too much laundry' when we didn't even have a towel for every person who was there? We followed the protocol for the check out in regards to laundry, so having that additional fee charged was frustrating. The way it was handled seemed almost like a scam, so while the property itself was nice for our large group, I'm not comfortable going back.
