This was our second stay at Riverstone Lodge, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first! We rented both cabins (Rocky River and Riverstone) with my side of the family and had such an amazing time together. It was wonderful having two cabins so close to each other. The setting is just perfect—nestled in the mountains and right on the river. We spent our days canoeing, kayaking, and tubing, and our evenings roasting s’mores around the fire and laughing together under the stars.It’s such a special place for making family memories, and we’re already talking about when we can come back again. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, and the owners clearly put a lot of care into making it a welcoming getaway. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful and fun mountain escape!

We enjoyed our stay. There were many activities available to keep the entire family entertained. We really appreciated the tubes and kayaks that were provided. Ian and Sara were great hosts. And fortunately we did not kiss the bear Ian. However we probably could have hand fed all of the deer!

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for a full week, this is such an amazing property with direct river access! We were a large group and had plenty of space to spread out. I spoke with Ian the owner of the property on our way up with great tips for our stay, you can tell he truly hopes you enjoy his property and wants you to have a great time! I highly recommend staying and will definitely choose this property again!

Best stay ever

This property was beyond beautiful. It had 3 floors that accommodated my family of 16. We had the pleasure of going tubing, create a bonfire and enjoyed the sounds of the river and geese. We plan on returning in the near future.

Great cabin with amazing views and close to town!

We had an amazing stay! We had a big group and we were fully accommodated the entire time. The access to the river was amazing. We had a great time utilizing the entirety of the property. The place was clean when we showed up. The owners communicated everything clearly the entrie time and were super nice. The town was not far away either with it being 20 minutes away roughly. Definitely recommend this cabin for a good time disconnecting with a small or big group.

Perfect getaway for our family

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Riverstone cabin over the Holidays! Excellent wifi, which kept everyone connected, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including games, a pool table, table tennis, and a foosball table. The spacious living area, cozy fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds made it easy for us to relax and have fun. Even though it was too cold to enjoy tubing on the river, we had a great time around the outdoor firepit, playing horseshoes, and even shooting some hoops on the basketball court! We also took the opportunity to visit a few stores and enjoy a nice dinner in downtown Ellijay. Sarah and Ian are fantastic hosts. Their efforts in decorating the cabin for the holidays made our trip even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we look forward to returning again!

Amazed at what a wonderful place. And what a wonderful view It had so many things to do that. The boys were always busy doing something hanging out by the fire playing basketball or ping pong or huddled up inside watching some playoff football.It was just a great trip all around. They had an amazing time. I enjoyed cooking for them and just watching my son. Enjoy time with his friends. Knowing he's about to get married and take a new step in his life. It was a wonderful place to come, and we're truly thankful for the opportunity to be able to stay in your home

Beautiful Family Getaway

The cabin was just as the pictures depicted! Enough room for our big family! The kitchen was stocked with everything, you just need to bring the food! We loved the fire pit, everyone enjoyed eating s’mores and listening to the River. We even got to see deer playing in the river!

Great Location and Excellent Option for a Large Group

We booked this cabin for our annual retreat, and it couldn’t have been more accommodating! We chose it mainly for its location and excellent reviews, and it truly was perfect for our group of 11. The hosts, Sarah and Ian, were wonderful - providing clear check-in and check-out instructions and detailed directions before arrival. Although we didn’t run into any issues, they were just a phone call away, ready to help if needed. The cabin sits right on the river within a safe, beautiful gated community. We saw a tons of wildlife on the drive in and drive out. It was convenient to have grocery stores and a variety of restaurants (both local and chain) within a short 5-7 mile drive. The cabin had everything we needed, from cookware to linens and towels. For entertainment, there was a pool table, ping pong, board games, horseshoes, and even a basketball court! We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and ample outdoor seating. The sound of the river was incredibly relaxing. Though cell service was limited, the wifi was excellent. With all of us using phones, tablets, and/or laptops, we could still stream events on the TV - with zero interruptions or problems. This retreat gave our group a much-needed break from daily life, allowing us to reconnect and enjoy each other's company. Huge thanks to Sarah and Ian for sharing their beautiful cabin. We highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning!
