This was an exceptional house for a relaxing weekend with friends. My husband and I went with two other couples and our toddler and had the best time relaxing, watching movies, drinking wine by the fire, etc.The best part about this house was that everything was nice. All the beds were comfortable, sheets were nice, bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with essentials for cooking. No one had a single complaint about our stay.If you're a group of older professionals looking for a quality place to stay for a weekend, this is it. It didn't feel like a typical VRBO with the worst-quality amenities so the hosts could spend as little as possible on the house. This was the opposite. It was clear the hosts put a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests, and we appreciated that very much.

After Christmas trip

Everything was wonderful, I had asked if the Christmas decor could stay up and it was! Had everything we needed and was beautiful inside and out. The only issue we had was the super steep driveway, having a low profile accessible van we got stuck leaving the first day.

Beautiful Blue Ridge Cabin!

Beautiful house, perfect for a family get together. It was even beautifully decorated for the holidays! Stocked with everything you need and wonderful extras like the outdoor fireplace and hot tub. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful cabin in Blue Ridge

We stayed here for a week and didn’t want to leave. The cabin is perfectly set up for 2 families with 4 teenagers and 3 dogs. It is absolutely beautiful. The decor is just perfect for a modern mountain cabin. Very dog friendly with a gated wrap around porch on the main level. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful Home

Excellent stay. House was perfect for us and exactly as described. Michael was very responsive to a very minor issue we had. Best VRBO we have had to date. Yes the driveway is steep but most homes in the area have very steep driveways. As long as you have an SUV it’s fine. Overall, perfect stay

Nice house, but…

The house is as beautiful as the photos indicate. However, the driveway is at a very steep angle. I would not want to attempt this in the winter. Also, after our trip, we were assessed an “additional person fee” of $150. We had 6 people (the house can accommodate up to 10) and 1 person came by the house to ride with us to lunch. The owner also said we didn’t disclose our dogs, but we indicated that in the booking process (as I’ve done for years in booking VRBO homes).It’s a lovely home but sadly this made the experience less enjoyable.

Mountain Family Getaway

We had 8 adults for a family get together. House was great but a little tight in the sitting areas for 8 people. Great for 6 people. Downstairs was great space for the younger set along with the hot tub. Decor was great and very comfortable bed rooms. Bed 7 & 8 are bunk beds. I would definitely recommend the home for a easy getaway mountain escape. Easy access to Blue Ridge and McKaysville.

Disappointed

Although we decided to have a good time in spite of several disappointments our stay was definitely less than desirable. First off, the severity of the driveway incline was very challenging. Unless we got a high rate of speed from the start—and made sure we cut the tires as we approached leaving the property each time—the tires would start spinning and was very hard to get off the property. Some in our party were too scared to even try it so only a few of us were able to make leaving the property successful. Secondly, the tv in the great room area was moved due to holiday furnishings in place. The only place for us, as a group, could watch together, or the kids to watch together, was on the deck outside. The cold weather made it very uncomfortable and we had to cut viewing short at times due to the coldness. We didn’t feel we should try to move a tv into the great room so we didn’t attempt that The oven was, once, challenging. It wouldn’t turn off once which was alarming. We finally decided to flip the fuse which finally corrected that issue. Would have expected firewood to be available none was. An extra charge for “additional guest” was unexplained. Lastly, was chged $25 post stay for missing remotes. We never used inside tv or remotes but were chged. After complaining about being arbitrarily being chged the prop rep called me “abusive” although I never cursed or made it personal. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this property or prop rep

Five Star Accomodations

The property has to be the most beautifully crafted residence due to its modern and sleek designs. The bathrooms were modern and the place was tastefully furnished. The Christmas Tree that welcomed us to the grand foyer looked like a tree at any luxury hotel. The kitchen was well equipped and their were deer roaming the grounds. The only downside is the steep slope down to the property but dont' let that stop you from staying here!! Just be prepared so you don't come in a Chevy Van or a huge suburban that does not have a 4 wheel drive, but all SUV's can take that slope any day!! Enjoy your Stay!! We sure did!!

Fantastic Home! Honestly, didn't want to leave!

So, me and 4 of my best friends and brothers all stay to celebrate a 40th birthday, we had 5 rooms between the 3 floors, this gave us all a separate space for sleeping and living space on 2 of the floors. We spent the 5 days very much relaxing from our busy work lives. Enjoyed the multiple fireplaces, the hot tub was so needed. The house stayed warm and cozy even on very cold nights, overall: all of us were able to relax and destress, location was great, house is very well kept, linens and bathroom soaps were well provided. Great views. Even had an important medication sent to the house and the doctor didn't ship it in time, in order to arrive before we checked out, and the owner personally got the package and mailed it back to me. Very personalized and great service. I've been to Blue Ridge many times and this was one of if not my favorite cabin! Will highly consider coming back on a future visit with our families. Thanks!

Great House

Amazing Vacation

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The only complaint we had is that we weren’t able to stay longer. Spacious, cozy, clean, close to excursions. Michael was a fantastic host and very quick to respond to any questions I had before and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Windows are so dirty you couldn't enjoy the view for the dirt. I dropped my keys in the up stair master bedroom. Bedding is very cheap. Overall cabin is a very nice home.

My Blue Ridge Stay

Our stay at this luxury cabin was GREAT. The communication with the property owner was always a quick response. This house was very clean, spacious, and kid friendly. My family and I made a fire out back and made smores. We cooked, laughed, danced and had an overall good time. The neighbors next to us even came to check-in (friendly people). Nice morning wake-up view, and very peaceful. You will enjoy your comfortable stay at this beautiful home for sure.

A home to remember

We had to evacuate our home short notice due to a major hurricane and this home was perfect! More than enough room fir multi families, pets, and had all necessities stocked. Peaceful home and setting when we needed peace most! I miss the deer, early morning walks, and the quiet beauty!
