Bugs in bedroom.7th bed was so uncomfortable the person slept on the couch.Access code didn’t work. First to arrive had to wait for hours to get in.

Great location but definitely a weird possibly old college rental. All bedrooms are upstairs with only spiral staircase as access. Not suitable for under 10 or over 60. TV is not a smart TV with NO service access provided. Host was not great with communication. Light in bedroom didn’t work. Definitely not worth 1000 for 3 nights. Fees too high! Best part was the neighborhood. Probably would not stay again.

There should be a disclaimer about the different levels of flooring. This is not a safe home for older adults, anyone who is unstable on their feet, or very young children. At the bottom of the circular staircase there are 4 different levels of floor to navigate. In addition, you must bring in luggage using the exterior stairs to an upper deck with a door into one of the bedrooms. In addition the home needs an exterminator to come in. We've never stayed at a VRBO with so many spiders, ants, and bugs. You cannot leave anything on the kitchen countertops, you should run the dishwasher after every meal (even after rinsing dishes before placing in the dishwasher). If not, ants fill the dishwasher. The photos definitely make the home look much nicer than it really is. Unfortunate that some basic updates and regular maintenance are not done. It is a great location.

It was the perfect place for our stay. Close to downtown, check in was easy, check out was easy, didn't have to do much to close up. Nice place. only negatives, spiral staircase was hard with suitcases, the flooring was uneven in a lot of places upstairs and downstairs. But overall clean and nice.

Nice, clean stay in Boise

Check in went well without any issues. The hosts were responsive, the place was very clean and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip in Boise.

Beautiful location for family

The overall stay was good. The property management company has some extra precautions after booking, be ready to take photos of yourself with you CC. The property is in a beautiful downtown location and quiet neighborhood. The overall property is nice but there are some issues. The light switch by the spiral staircase is not a fixed to the pillar and would slide out. The microwave works but the rotating plate mootor is stripped and makes a loud grinding noise. The floors at the landing upstairs are very uneven and have my wife some vertigo from the slope. There was an electrical outlet in the bedroom without a cover plate. The gas fireplace in the living room was broken and not operational.Be careful at the walkway between the main room and kitchen, multiple uneven surfaces that can cause tripping hazards when moving from room to kitchen, even upstairs. My suggestion is to bring item up the back stairs for the upstairs area as the spiral staircase can be tricky to navigate with large luggage.Nice parking area but the garage door was not hooked up to electricity and was not usable, with rain would have been nice to utilize.

Great location but needs a couple of fixes….

Great location for our purposes. Minutes away from BSU, minutes from downtown, short drive to some holiday events/activities. Neighborhood was nice took a stroll to view Christmas lights in the neighborhood. Bathrooms, showers were nice and clean - water pressure, hot water no problem. Upon checking in and inspecting the bedrooms and bathrooms, I did report to property management there was hair in bedsheets of one of the beds. The other two bedrooms, bathrooms and the house were clean. The following day I wanted to heat water for tea and the microwave did not function. The coffee pot can be updated. It’s an older four cup coffee maker, however it made only two - three cups of coffee. From other reviews I read there was a quirky step down leading to the kitchen and a spiral staircase that can be a challenge with luggage but knowing that ahead of time was helpful, neither was an issue. Property management easy to get ahold of and I appreciate allowing me an earlier check in. Overall a pleasant stay. It’s a nice homey home and with a couple of “fixes” this would have been a higher rating.

Great Location But…

The home is a great location to Boise for all aspects whether it’s sports at Boise St or downtown activities. I’d stayed at three other rentals the last six months in Boise and this was the best location but… The home itself has open space And a large kitchen and it also has slanted or slopping floors in many areas. Getting out of bed in one bedroom the floor slanted and made it difficult to stand properly and had to grab the wall or it felt like you would fall over. There are steps in the kitchen area that made a tripping hazard for all ages that we put a chair there so people would walk around a different way after a couple of close calls. The spiral stair case is cute but would be impossible for older folks but they can access upstairs from an outdoor stair case but if the weather was bad that wouldn’t work. The fireplace shown in the photos does not operate.. The most interesting part was when a truck was parked on the side of the property with a person it and when I approached he let me know that he was a friend of the owners and that side of the driveway and garage were not part of the rental. I let the property manager know this and they apologized and would check with owner and see why they let someone park on their property especially when being rented. Overall the property worked for our needs over the holiday weekend

Boise Character

The house and location were very comfortable. The home had three plus rooms with very comfortable beds. The outdoor spaces were nice. Everything we needed for basic kitchen use were provided. My family enjoyed the visit.
