  • Perched on a hill overlooking the water, this house is a short stroll to the shops, restaurants, and attractions of downtown Boothbay Harbor. Impeccably designed interiors include two wood-burning fireplaces and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. A seasonal, antique sleeping loft provides added charm. Enjoy amazing harbor views from the large deck, or gather by the fire pit in the evenings. With an unbeatable location, this home is your ideal Boothbay Harbor getaway!

    The main living area has a sofa, two armchairs, and two side chairs. Enjoy the harbor view, or watch a film on the 46-inch Roku TV. In the cozy family room, a couch and three armchairs surround another 46-inch smart TV. Watch your favorite shows by the glow of the wood-burning fireplace. The stylish chef's kitchen has sleek countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a French-door fridge and gas stove top with griddle and separate built-in Wolf oven. The large center island provides ample space to prepare meals and seating for two. In the dining area, play a tune on the piano while enjoying a pre-dinner beverage by the wood-burning fireplace. When it's time to eat, the table has room for 10.

    Take in the incredible view of the bay from the large wraparound deck. Or fire up the gas grill for a group barbecue. As evening falls, gather around a fire pit in the grassy yard to watch the stars come out. Nestled in walking distance of the waterfront and downtown, enjoy prime access to the harbor for lovely dinners, sightseeing, and shopping.

    THINGS TO KNOW
    Fireplaces are for use only during the winter season. The outdoor firepit is not for guest use.
    The home does not have air conditioning. However, fans are available throughout.
    Please note that the rustic sleeping loft is accessed via a steep/narrow staircase, and is not equipped with heat.

Weekend Getaway

Outstanding home in Boothbay Harbor!

Rosegate is a lovely home! The place was spotless and well equipped. The location is outstanding and very convenient to everything in the area. Probably the best thing is that”Rosegate” felt like home instead of a rental. We will definitely stay at this home again!

Perfect Spot

This was a beautiful and well appointed home inside and out. Great location for walking in town and watching the harbor from the deck or living room. We will be back in the future. Great time was had by the five of us.

Boothbay Family Vacation

The home was lovely and perfect for our family (ages mid 50’s/ mid 20’s/ early 30’s and a 3 year old.) The location can’t be beat, and the view…WOW!! The extra touches and care taken to make the house a home don’t go unnoticed, from the pottery barn quilts to the upholstered headboards. We had a fabulous time and hope to return next fall!
