The process of taking my second payment wasted 30 minutes of my time by the time I tried the process twice online and spoke to two different people. The second person acknowledged the Vacasa online system was not working. She clearly could have cared less about my experience or my time. The first two floors of the house were good. We noticed a very musty smell by the second day. We discovered the basement had standing water and mold on the floor. One of the Vacasa people came over to look at and shared there was in fact a leak, mold and spiders. He taped the leak the best he could but it did not fix the problem. He tried to bring over a dehumidifier, but the owner told him there was one already there. He wanted me to go check (I was not at the house). We also did not have wireless internet the whole time. The same Vacasa person confirmed the wireless did not work. Nobody was able to reset the router, because it was in another un accessible house. The text and communications with the Vacasa team was terrible the whole time. After they seemed to drop any conversation around the dehumidifier, I was basically ghosted. As an example, I asked if it was possible to get a later check out. They did not respond until after I had left the unit.Not withstand the basement and internet was fine. Unfortunately, the Vacasa service was repeatedly terrible. I would like for VRBO to investigate this group. This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had.
