This home is situated on a quiet street, but within a half-mile walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and puffin cruise piers. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, with several nice extras. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the cove.

Fantastic coastal cottage feel! Beautiful view of the the bay. Updated bathrooms and kitchen. Perfect location to walk to center of Boothbay harbor shops and restaurants. My only suggestion...replace any bad window shades with working ones..andCheck all ac unit filters.maybe consider updating the upstairs ac units.We had an amazing time.

Quaint and Walkable

We enjoyed the view from this home and the location very much. Easy walkability to town and having Dunston’s right down the street was a fun perk. The communal spaces are small but cozy. The weather was rainy while we were there so we spent a lot of time nestled up reading and enjoying the view. My only complaint was there was no coffee provided—pretty small gripe and easily remedied!

It's winter in Boothbay, Maine. Not much you can do about that. The issues were wifi internet was non-functioning and the haunted-like house reeked of cigarettes. Other than smelling like an ashtray, it was on brand with nautical themed old sailor paintings and at least a dozen jackolope antler sets. FUN! s/

Perfect Spot

This house is in perfect spot in Boothbay Harbor. Easy walk to town, right on the water. Everything about the house was perfect and exactly what we needed.

Nice location, needs refresh

Great location, on water in Mill Cove - so don’t expect ocean/bay views. But was very easily walkable to downtown area, yet isolated from tourist throngs. Check-in was easy but locking up instructions a bit confusing. Bed was clean and comfortable but bedroom furniture substandard and electrical access for nightstands depended upon unsafe use of cheap extension cords. House smelled musty and several windows on first floor could not be opened to air out. Whole house needs a deep clean and refresh. Floors/kitchen shelves were not clean. Several dishes were put away wet and had a brown residue as a result, making us question the quality of the water (needs whole house filter for the well water). Lawn furniture broken. Contractor showed up and started a chimney repair while we were there with no communication from him or owner. The theme is “rustic” but is borderline run-down. Disappointing.

Mostly Wonderful

Great location. Beautifully equipped/furnished. NO hot water. Confusing/inaccurate instructions for entering key code. Very pleasant but totally unhelpful assistance in addressing hot water issue. However...would stay there again IF these issues were addressed.

Boothbay Harbor Adventure

Mill Cove is a lovely cottage on the waterfront. The house has a very comfortable vibe. Rooms were comfortable and great walking access to the all Boothbay Harbor has to offer.

We enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage and we appreciated the antiques connecting the cottage to the past/ history of the area. No issues with our stay. Location was good; the drive to daily activities not tremendous. Loved the village, and the people were so friendly. Great escape from every day life.

girls weekend

The location of this home was fantastic just a quick 5-minute walk down into town! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Parking is tight but we managed. The TV was the only issue could not figure that one out. Could not get anything to work with either remote but it was not a big deal for us as we had other things to do. All in all, it was a good stay, and I would recommend this home to others but maybe not with little ones due to all the antiques which seem to take over a bit of the space.

Beautiful view and great location!

Love the charm of this house! The view out the back is perfect and it is so close to town! Cooking utensils, as well as pots and pans need updating and the sheets were very scratchy. Also, a grill out back would’ve been nice. Otherwise, I would’ve given it five stars.

Sweet spot, best in high season

It was an off season weekend away. Boothbay Harbor was almost completely asleep except a few dog walkers and the popcorn store. It was quiet and picturesque. The house is small and cozy, but with ample room to relax, and a surprising amount of bedroom space and bathrooms! All the necessities you need for a long weekend. Due to the off season, the house needed some TLC. There was ice on the driveway and steps, dusty lights and dishes, the internet password didn't work, and the sink sprayer was broken. Nothing more than inconvenient though, and is stay there again just to take a closer look at the antiques, art, and to enjoy the outdoors, just durng better weather seasons.

Nice house, poor management company running it

Inside of the house was great, and as advertised. Outside of the house was the challenge - side entrance deck was completely covered in ice/snow and was a treacherous hazard, including having one of our guests fall. Understand it is Maine, but the entrance should have been cleared before our arrival. Would have been happy to clean the area if it snowed after our arrival (which it did) but there were no shovels/ice melt.

Cozy cottage with a great view

I stayed at the property with a friend for a girls weekend. The pictures were accurate, though, if anything, it was even cuter than the photos depicted. The kitchen was well stocked; the house was clean; the beds were comfortable; and the view was amazing. It had all the elements for a perfect spot to stay.

The property was even better than we anticipated. The location was perfect…on the Bay and within walking distance of the community. The pavilion (that we affectionately refer to as the boathouse) became our favorite place! The local representative was extremely responsive when we had a slight issue. We hope to return!

Highlight property of our trip!

Highlight property of our trip! My wife and I, along with my cousin and his wife, visited boothbay Harbor and Bar Harbor for a few days each. This property is absolutely awesome. The house itself is extremely comfortable but there is a pavilion outside that hovers right on the edge of the water and it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the company of others staying with us. We had a great time and all agreed that this was one of the better properties we have ever stayed in. It is also very walkable to town which was a huge plus for us

Great Location

The second week of our Maine vacation was spent at this Sea Street house. The house is very comfortable and convenient to the waterfront and shops in town. Whether sitting in the back yard and looking across the cove or hanging out in the pavilion having a meal of playing games, it was a terrific stay.
