Absolutely loved the house and the price! It had everything you needed in the kitchen / bathrooms. The bathrooms do smell like pee - we kept the vent on constantly but it didn't help. Not sure why :( I would love to give this a 5 star, but the check-in process was horrible! The code given didn't work, we called and were told there was a keypad ON the door, I finally had to show pictures that there wasn't one. I had to climb under the garage to get in and we didn't get a key until 3:00 the next day. When I texted the given number, they just kept telling me there IS one on the door. But there clearly was not! The local guy that finally called the next day apologized and was GREAT! He said there were no issues - I asked what code he used, and it was completely different than all the ones the people on the phone tried. So, it worked after that! He said there hasn't been a keypad on the door for awhile, just the key lockbox next to it. But the house was GREAT! They just really need to fix the lockbox / keypad issue - as that's a very frustrating way to start our vacation. Thank goodness we were able to get the garage open!

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely house in Boothbay Harbor. It was just outside of town, so it was quiet but we had easy access to the town. There were four of us and there was plenty of room. The place was cute and clean and comfortable. I’d stay there again.

Wonderful

Clean and welcoming. Problem getting into house. Took too long to resolve. 15 -20 minutes. Not doing laundry when you pay for cleaning service. Close to town and plenty of parking.

Clean; Great Location

We enjoyed everything about our stay except there was a day of heavy rain that caused a leak in the bathroom ceiling. It got quite bad as water was leaking through the fan. We called Vacasa and were told they put through an emergency call. When no one showed up, we called back and were again told someone local would be in touch but no one called and no one came by. The ceiling didn’t fall but we decided not to use the fan in that bathroom for fear of an electrical short.

Clean and location is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect location to Boothbay and surrounding areas! The home was very clean and it was great have 2 full baths. Planning on booking again next year!

Perfect Location

We were coming up to Booth Bay Harbor for a family reunion and of course we all needed a place to stay. This house was super - three bedrooms and all in great rooms. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed even though we were not there that much - it was a perfect "home base" for sleeping and breakfast. We appreciated the artwork and the door stop collection.

Great Holiday Home in Boothbay Harbor

We stayed in the house for nine days end of June 23. Very Clean and cosy for the two of us and up to six. Complete kitchen. Nicely decorated interior. Walk to Boothbay Harbor about 25 minutes (pedestrian bridge was closed due to repair). Quiet neighborhood. Netflix, Prime and good WiFi. No public TV - went to a bar for Playoffs. Outside stairs and backyard need freshup.

Home not clean

I'll start out by saying the house itself is decent. The location is good to the downtown area. UNFORTUNATELY there were several issues, mostly going to blame this on Vacasa/some to the homeowner. If you think for one second after paying $200 for a cleaning fee this house will be spotless, MOVE ALONG! Not even close at all. You will likely still find many large spider webs everywhere. You will likely find years, not even exaggerating one bit, worth of dust on the master bathroom fan. I mean LOADED and very obvious. You will find several unsafe areas on kitchen floor for walking, probably best to keep sneakers on when inside. Good luck trying to get the key out of the key lock box! 7 tries with the code the mechanism literally fell to the ground nearly broke. Backup key by the garage door? Since they cant seem to program the right code count on one key (not the end of the world I know). Speaking of one key, good luck with the side door...it's a totally different key shoved in a random kitchen drawer! If you enjoy hairs on your pillow case, mattress pad, inside bathtubs...this is definitely the place for you! Dust is everywhere especially the ceiling of the main bathroom and the headboards and lamps in master bedroom. If you also do not value being taken serious and do not want to be contacted when the issue is brought to Vacasas attention, then definitely stay here! They could literally care less. I contacted them the day we got there with the issues and pictures and never heard back after being told it was being forwarded to the office. Your better off staying at any of the various inns close to the downtown area. Oh the best part? Yes, there is! The master bedroom king bed SINKS in the middle and you will literally roll into the center. Have fun getting out! I love the reviews saying it's the most comfortable bed at a vacasa/vrbo!! What a joke...I've never slept on anything worse and I have slept in dozens of hotels/resorts of all different types. Usually you get the semi stiff bed...yeah your in for a treat here! The other two queen beds from feedback of the other guests were ok. So hopefully you won't need a king bed... Would I stay here again at any price point. NEVER! The plus is the grill is new as of Sept 2022...

Excellent Boothbay stay

Great location on a quiet stretch of road minutes from Boothbay Harbor. House was very clean and very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. Large well equipped kitchen and comfortable livingroom area.

Clean Cottage

Cottage was VERY clean and close to town. We really enjoyed our week long stay. The ONLY thing that is missing is a designated outdoor area to sit and enjoy the nice weather. We improvised and took chairs from inside and made our own little "porch". Had a great time!

Our family group of five enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Very comfortable and spacious enough for us with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very well equipped kitchen. We were able to walk into town, or a quick trip in the car. We loved our week in Boothbay Harbor.

Spotlessly clean, cozy, close to town and the most comfortable beds ever in any rental we have had through VRBO. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property. It's a gem.

Dangerous deck and door lock brojen

1 hour in front door wouldn’t lock and back deck step broke in two places property manager cam out fast to repair but it was an issue all weekend hope this can be resolved in the future
