This listing is for Unit 1 of a two unit building in Dorchester's Savin Hill. You have the unit to yourself across two levels, the First Floor and the Lower Level below it, and the patio is shared with the other unit. Another group may be staying in Unit 2 during your stay. If noise from a neighboring unit would affect your trip, reach out before booking and we will do our best to place you elsewhere. There are 3 steps from the sidewalk to the front door and no ramp access. The Lower Level is reached by about a dozen steps. Guests who cannot manage stairs can still use the full First Floor, which holds two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

The patio is shared with everyone staying at the property and is available on a first come, first served basis. The backyard is not fenced from the street, and the front is reached by walking along either side of the house.

Guest Access:

The home is accessed via smart locks. Door codes and all check-in details will be provided via message and text on the day of check-in. The unit is private to your group. The patio is shared with everyone staying at the property on a first come, first served basis.



The Neighborhood:

Our home sits in Savin Hill, a small hillside neighborhood in Dorchester that locals tend to keep to themselves. Streets here are lined with Victorian houses, and the area mixes longtime residents with young professionals and artists drawn by the easy commute and the quieter pace. Savin Hill is one of Boston's beach neighborhoods, with Savin Hill Beach and Malibu Beach both part of the Dorchester Shores Reservation, and the Savin Hill Yacht Club has been on the waterfront since 1875. Local bars, restaurants, and galleries are within walking distance. All guests receive a list of local recommendations after booking, including favorite spots, restaurants, and activities.



Getting Around:

The JFK/UMass Red Line station is about a five minute walk from the home, and the Red Line runs directly into downtown Boston in roughly 15 minutes. Rideshare into downtown typically takes around 10 minutes. Bluebikes stations and rideshare services are both readily available in the neighborhood, and I-93 is close by for guests driving in. This unit does not have a designated off street parking space, but free on street parking is available on several nearby streets within a short walk.

This is a multi unit building and another group may be staying in the other unit during your stay.



BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS

–We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.

–We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.

–We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.

–We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.

–Pets are not allowed at this property.

–Packages mailed to the property cannot be received by the host. The host is not responsible for lost or damaged packages and cannot guarantee their arrival.

–We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.



Interaction with Guests:

You will have complete privacy here. Should a rare maintenance issue occur, our ground team is available to assist. Check in is keyless; no need to worry about lost keys!
