My wife and I came to Utah for a large reunion of her family and we decided to stay a few extra days so we could get together with old friends. We had been to the Escalante-Grand Staircase area once many years ago and wanted to return. We decided to rent your VRBO near Boulder and invite several old friends to come and stay with us. This house was perfect in every way for that purpose. There were five couples in total (10 persons) ranging in age from 71 to 80 and we stayed three nights. The house worked perfectly for this gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was very comfortable as well as very convenient for sightseeing and hiking in the area. It is located just outside Boulder and just off the Burr Trail which is a lovely drive down through the canyon and into Capital Reef. The house well equipped and we were very satisfied. We cooked wonderful breakfasts and one evening meal, and twice went to the well known restaurant "Hell's Backbone Grill" which was nearby. We also enjoyed the beautiful dark sky for nighttime star gazing. We would definitely recommend this house for a gathering like ours.
Our group of 12 rented both houses at this location. Having the two houses is great because it gives you more flexibility with group size. The houses are well equipped and are exactly as represented on the web site. This location provides great access to Escalante Canyons, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon. This is the second time our group has used these houses because of the good location, beautiful location, and quality of the facilities.
We had all of our kids and their spouses With us in Boulder and it was fantastic! The house was perfect and had plenty of room to play games and spend time together and cook together!
The house is well stocked and very suitable for a large family. Couple minor comments:
* Bathroom in master bedroom (ground level) has no door between the bedroom and bathroom. This is a problem when one person is already sleeping.
* Kitchen dishes and utensils are
There were seven in our family, all of us had comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The kitchen was filled with all we needed of utensils, dishes and pans to prepare meals. It was quiet and a very close drive to all activities and Hells Backbone Grill. Iâd highly recommend staying here. Just be careful as the wooden floors are polished and slick in spots.
We stopped in Boulder for a few days before exploring Zion and found this wonderful home on a ranch. Loved the homeâs layout and porches! Perfect location for taking day hikes and lovely evenings on the porch. Lots of room and wonderful living spaces with large televisions. Would recommend to anyone coming this way!
What a great place to stay with a large group. We had a group of 15 ladies staying at the house for a 3 day hiking trip of slot canyons. The house is large and roomy with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils ( except for really large skillets and pots for large group meal preparation). Sitting outside on the large back deck enjoying the great views was wonderful after a full day of hiking. All in all a great stay.
The property was beautiful and well equipped, you couldnât ask for a more peaceful place to be.
We were not aware, but one of the beds in the basement was a very uncomfortable double bed, not great accommodations for 2 adults. And yes, it is on a farm, a hemp farm. It does smell different than a normal farm.
Wow this place was really great and had everything we needed! I would definitely love to come back and stay again. The instructions pamphlet they provided prior to check in was really helpful

We loved our stay and the house worked perfect for us. We couldn't figure out the TV, but all else was fine. My only issue was poor communication from Evolve Vacations. We booked via VRBO but when I asked questions via VRBO I was informed that I needed to set up an account with Evolve Vacations. Even when I did this they were very slow responding. Thankfully just before we arrived I did receive a flurry of emails and contact info. The property manager (Donna) was very friendly and helpful.
We had a group of 6 couples staying in Boulder for 5 days to hike in Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase, and Capital Reef. The house was centrally located for all of these. The beds were comfortable. We cooked most of our meals but went out to nearby restaurants (good food: Sweetwater recommended)) a couple of nights. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. There was plenty of storage room and refrigerator space.
The large ranch house was perfect for our multi-family summer vacation. We were away from crowds, but reasonably close to the National Parks. A great place to stay, with a beautiful view!

Our group had 9 adults (siblings and spouses) for 3 nights. I still can't believe how wonderful our stay was at this house. Everything was clean and organized. The kitchen was well stocked. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The best part was the setting, though. The ranch is huge! I don't think the view could have been more wonderful on the back porch including acres and acres of green grass, cows in the pasture, red barns and colorful rock mountains all around. We drove the Burr Trail through Capitol Reef to Lake Powell and down around Escalante. At night we would take a quiet stroll down the long driveway lined with tall trees and listen to the birds. Then we would look at the stars in the dark night sky. However, you need to enjoy very small rural towns and the sights, sounds and smells of being on a ranch, which we do. We didn't want to leave and are already talking about coming back again!
Our family had a great stay at the ranch house. The location is amazing with view of the farm and the beautiful scenery. The house is roomy and well stocked with everything we needed from board games to movies to paper goods and kitchen cookware. Our teens loved the pool table and game table. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was one room has a waterbed which was uncomfortable. All other beds were great. Kitchen and family room are roomy for feeding a crowd. The landlord was helpful and kind -- even let the kids hold a baby lamb. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
We reserved this house, as well as the smaller House and loft apartment that is on the same property, for a Working Retreat. We needed 9 sleeping rooms as well as meeting space. This house and the smaller house, along with the loft apartment provided 9 beds, 7 bathrooms, ample meeting space as well as 3 kitchens and a very nice common area in the big house for all members to meet up in. We were able to meet in a comfortable setting with a beautiful view. The house was stocked more than any other location I've stayed before. The smaller house was completely comfortable and provided a nicely furnished kitchen. The loft was very comfortable as well with a full kitchen and bathroom. And bonus, by the time the cost of all three houses was divided by all members, it was less expensive per night than staying in the hotels in the area! This is a working farm so there was activity while we were there but we were never bothered. Andy, who had just started working there a few days before was a fantastic help. I could go to him with whatever question or need I had and he was always so pleasant and helpful. Kelly was also wonderful and quick to assist whenever we needed and was a pleasure to work with. It was so refreshing to stay in a relaxed location where we were free to meet in a really comfortable basement, take much needed breaks outside, and gather around the big dining room table to eat and spend down-time in the evenings. This ranch is so close to Hell's Backbone Grill and the Burr Trail Outpost so we could grab a quick lunch and take it back to the ranch or leave in the evening for a really nice dinner. Not far from Escalante either. Every member of the team would love to stay there again!
