« Very nice hotel, excellent free breakfast and spacious indoor pool. Beautiful and cosy main lobby. Only bad point: smartphones will not connect to the Wifi which seems to be almost inexisting. But there is a free internet corner with almost acceptable performance at disposal »

« In the main road of ely where all the restaurants, theatre etc are present. Rooms are clean. Owner is super friendly and helpful. She helped suggesting us with few hikes which are good in the winter/snow and also gave us food suggestions. Rooms are pretty clean and sufficient for travel days. the internet speed was very good without any issues. It’s an old motel but well maintained. »

« Cozy stay at Solbakken. Super pet friendly, small kitchenette and a warm space to warm up after skiing and biking. Location was convenient between Grand Marais and Lutsen. Will definitely be back. »

« All i can say is it was truly amazing, the room was very nice. Close to the ski hill. The lake right outside. The walking path was great. sitting down by the lake watching the stars with a drinks was a highlight. Over great trip Thank you. I will return sooner vs later. !!!!! Same room or maybe one above it 😁 »

« The staff was great, the room and facility were very clean. Nice features in the suite like fireplace in the living room and bedroom, big soaking tub, and in-floor heat throughout are a big plus after winter hiking. Check in was a breeze and we had a nice stay. Thank you! »
